That's really cool to see one flying.

Such a weird bird, what does the second person do I wonder.

Looks like 6 gun ports on center span, 50s I guess.

 

they do love Mustangs at Oshkosh

They removed the controls from one side and made them a radar operator.  That was /the/ XP though, it was dual controls with merlins as it was originally intended.
