Hello everyone, this is your, up till now, biplane noob girl!!  *waves*

As some of you know, I recently passed 1,000 battles in ver 2.0 and last night, I had two very atypical games where I earned more medals and shiny awards than I might ordinarily earn in a year (don't ask me why, planes just kept ending up in front of mine so I shooted them all :playing:).

Anyway, slightly shocked and very pleased with this temporary moment of success, I reported my triumph to the members of my clan (caring is sharing after all, right?) and they informed me that I probably should stop telling everyone I was a noob girl any more since ... well, they gave me the following reasons ...

1) I had over 1,000 battles

2) While I have not been actively flying all the time (mostly doing the ships thingee) I did fly my first mission (P-12, what a glorious day that was) on October 25, 2015 so I actually have been in the game for longer than most of the other members.

3) I have more monoplanes in my hanger than bi-planes.

4) And, well, I had just gotten all those shiney thingees to put on my record just now soooo ...

No more noob.

Aghast at this concept, I made my case.

1) 1,000 games is nothing when flying with peoples which several thousand more and who I clearly can not (from flaming crashing experience) fly in the same sky for 10 seconds against them without being exploderated and crashing to the ground.

2) Ok, I've been bad and after acquiring pretty much every biplane around, I have added a lot of those mysterious monoplanes to my hanger.

3) Yep I have more monoplanes but my top 10 planes I've actually flown are mostly biplanes. (Ha, try to argue out of that one!!) :izmena:

4) I certainly feel like a noob.  I come here to the forum or even the clan and is anyone talking biplanes or even like, mid tier prop planes?  No!!!  We're talking about what is the best ultimate equipment mix for my F-86, that F7U is a tough bird, how do I fly her, I'm trying to figure out if I should go for the Mig-15bis or the Yak-30, what do you think?   :amazed::amazed:

But after due consideration ... they're probably right.  I might fly like a noob sometimes but I've been around long enough that I can't hide behind the Biplane Noob Girl mask any longer (poo, stinky, stinky, messy poo!!!) :(

So for all of you out there that object to my noobishness, the Biplane Noob Girl is officially retiring to be replaced by GIRL WHO FLIES BIPLANES LIKE A NOOB!!!   (what ... I'm suppose to get rid of the noob thing? ... come on, I changed it all up!!!  No?  crud ... )

Ok, lets try that again.  I shall now be ... BIPLANE GIRL who is also a noob, but don't tell them i just made it in smaller type, ok? Trust me, they'll never figure that one out.   :great:

BIPLANES ATTACK!!!! :izmena:

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

Maybe go with Biplane Apprentice or Journeyman. Work yourself up to Master. Throw in the 'girl' wherever it fits best.

I'd be happy to talk to you about low-midtier or mid-midtier prop planes.  Heck, I'm still working on upper-tier prop planes (I'm looking at you, Ki-84 II).

Truth be told, I enjoy playing down at the low tiers - the FW-159 was my introduction to non-HF monoplanes, and taught me a little something about BnZ.  My Ar-67 and Ar-68 are just sitting there, gathering dust.  My lowly I-5 waits patiently for  me - the first plane I ever specialized, the plane that taught me that having a LOT of guns is a great thing.

I haven't played down there in a long time.  In fact, i need to do some T4 work for tokens.  Maybe I'll see if my T2 skills still exist.  ;)

Not to be a downer or anything, English is a mash-up of so many other languages, and evolves so quickly that even what was written a few hundred years ago needs translation.

Made-up words today are in the dictionary tomorrow, so let them rip!
