When are you going to have supply crates with what I need?.. I bought 20 supply crates hoping to get frame parts & heat resistant parts, which is what I need... And I got nothing I needed in those 20 crates... Now why is that?.. And why is it the game gives me so little of them too... Really beginning to believe some of the conspiracy ideas... And the weekly supply crates have been no better... GIVE US WHAT WE NEED, PLEASE!.. Just this once maybe.

If you need specific parts/materials, you have to watch what you kill and on which tier.

There is a chart somewhere with the 'drop' chance for all parts. I think @blindfold posted it ...

Ah, found it : http://forum.worldofwarplanes.com/index.php?/topic/54605-materials-in-world-of-warplanes/

That is beside the point.. They never give anything I need.. And even when I buy supply crates, they are useless.. When can I trade slots for supplies?.. WG serves me not..lol.. And come on armored targets with a fighter?.. Or GAA.. Be real already.. That list is [edited]when it comes to a fighter that is set up turn & burn.. But the fighter has to earn this?

My point is that you do not need to buy crates to get materials ... I never do and I have heaps of materials.

And where does it say you need to attack armored targets with a fighter ? :amazed:

The list tells you which targets to destroy to have them drop specific materials, not which a/c you have to use.

Read this for the targets you have to destroy to get heat resistant parts, & what does it say?

Well, that makes life hard if you are trying to amass certain parts, yes?  When WG makes life hard for us in so many ways, it is surprising that when they get things right.  This is one of those things they get right - if you want mechanical parts or heat resistant parts, you have to fly something OTHER THAN the planes that use these parts in large quantities.  Like, I have a HUGE stock of airframe elements, and few mechanical parts.  Why?  Because to upgrade sights and guns, you need mechanical parts.  And when you fly German aircraft, upgrading sights and guns is what you do!  :)

So, you fly GAA and bombers to farm mechanical parts.  :)

I have around 12K+ mechanical parts.  Where are my heat treated parts?   And 'useful supply crates' is an oxymoron in this game.

To be honest, I have vast stockpiles of every other part except Mech Parts. Over 5k airframe components, almost 1000 weapons parts, maybe 500 heat treated about 350 radio...

And 2 mech parts x.x

What would be nice would've for Wargaming to offer some of those parts crates for sale again... Although I probably wouldn't buy them myself in light of my current glut of everything except mech parts.

Maybe a trade-in function?

Wishful thinking:  WG to add auction house to WoWP so players can buy/sell items.

I am sure it would be exploited but I think it could be added to the game in some form.

Edit:  In other words, what Fox just wrote above.

It probably could be added but what would motivate WG to do it?  It would only benefit the players and would probably cut in to crate sales.  From my experience, that is not how they operate.

Make any transaction done cost at least a token.  Prices below can be made to whatever is fair, I just threw out numbers for examples.

10,000 credits or less cost 1 token.

10,000 - 20,000 credits cost 2 tokens and so on.

Kind of like a surcharge for using the auction house or whatever you want to call it.

Might increase token sales.

I think we were referring to materials.   At least, I was.

I am as well.  You pay the surcharge off of the selling price of the material you are selling.

He might have mentioned that ...

Btw ; his profile says he has 1335 sorties in GA (and doing good in them) ... so I still don't see his problem. But yes, if he now only flies fighters, there is a problem getting certain materials ...
