I just had Zenkoji1969's Spitfire I on my team with my own Spitfire I. The enemy also had two specialist Spit Is.  Blue RAF won, with Zen and I finishing 1-2, and both of us beating out the red's top scorer.

Just had rooed's Bristol with my Spit I too, took home another win.

Yeah, been trying to fly that thing, seen a lot of other folks I know.  You, losttwo, fkn_ra...all of us in Bristols, don't think any of us like them.  I remembered disliking this plane when I was grinding the Spitfire line when I first started.  I assumed it was because I was a new player and the Spits were the second line I started to play.  Now I am not sure.  it just dies so easy...and gets nothing in return.

I've been trying it out using boom and zoom tactics and that seems to work.  Not as good as a 109B, but you usually end up getting enough speed to get close enough for the 8 mg's to do their thing.  It's sort of like the P-40, if you can't outrun it you can out turn it.  But it is a bit fragile.  I absolutely hated this fighter when I went up the Spitfire line but now I can see it being a decent T4 fighter.  But the 109B properly flown can own it.

Fly crooked and shoot straight.

Yea. The 109b is a beast at T4.  Almost untouchable if flown correctly

This, a 109B flown properly owns just about everything, including most T5s it may face.

Grind... The Bristol was such a dog "coming up" the spit line I sold it a long time ago. Well, after repurchasing the thing and getting botted to death, and just squished repeatedly, I finally made it to spec. and an engine.  Things started cooking and around 9 I started turning 1's and more medals than my chest could hold. It was like, so that's how they get those...

I saw everybody... The Bristol Amnesty ploy didn't work and every spit and 109 ate well. Glad to help but I do wish they would have been in the event. To complete this for me was a lucky chance of needing only one Bristol and one spit. :(  wonder how many get through to the tier 8?

Well the game give and take, mostly takes. This is what makes you sweat a touch sitting down as the heart beats a bit faster and the temp.'s go up, just like a chemically induced heart stress test. That Bristol is a do or die hit or miss thud or star, depending on the whims of match making, map, and players, then throw in those bots and it's a challenge, but those GUNS....are nice and the canopy is funny.

Here's the gift battle to complete the spit 5-7 tier capture points and move on to tier 8, 100k, 5 day snuffing. Yardog had a F4-U.

Flew against Gen. Buford this Sunday with one of those no chevron 7800 point wins. Of course, he  was in 5 digits with 4 chevrons and that star. It was another fine example of teamwork, except for our zero point player, a classic 4 on 4. I, once again was without chevron, flew 4 different planes in the battle. I've noticed some success when I can tailor the bird as the battle evolves, but it is expensive. Side note: last night Harris asked in a PM: "how the game could give away free wins to pilots who put in such a poor performance?". It was one of those where a two on two, (me spit, him attacker, my teamie in a pancake and his other half was something I can't remember.)  Just like the above battle, he had a five digit effort with a chest full of medals and lost to our 7k performances, with none and two chevrons. I've heard of fairness AI, bots be hating, and a few other conspiracy theories as to why some bot matches go off the rails, but I sent those bots that hosed him down three times from afar. Press the button, bot spawns, bot kills, all real quick like too :} ……………..baaaaa!

noun, plural jack·e·roos. an inexperienced person working as an apprentice on a sheep ranch. verb (used without object), jack·e·rooed, jack·e·roo·ing. to work as an apprentice on a sheep ranch

P.S. I think I hurt myself spinning in circles in a spit all weekend

flew 8-9 battles with George Patton this afternoon

i... emm... didn't mention my losing streak today before he jumped into the flight with me       "why worry him with embarrassing important information?"

together we walked up from T5 to T10 and back down again, and had a great time      i think we won them all but i might be wrong       in several of them, i even contributed!

good to talk to him, it's been quite a while       so glad that everything is working out well for him, he's an asset to our community

welcome back, Glenn!

Had  qu33kKC on my team earlier.

Was having internet trouble with ping 2k+ packet loss in the 100's.

Had to run upstairs and tell my son to get off his iPhone 10.

For some reason it interferes with the WiFi signal.

Game finally returned to normal after a bit.

I had enough time to score #1 and help him win the match

please support new folks any way that you can, including leaving them alone unless they directly fire on you?

At T4-10?  No way.  They bought the planes, but my 50% win rate I EARNED.

How do you know when that knucklehead in the Goblin only has 40 battles?   You cannot protect them from themselves.

Had the honor of a match earlier with Mr Bomber extraordinaire Capt Underpants.

His excellent work at capping gave me the opportunity to walk away with Legendary and a few other medals.

I spent the entire match trying to hold on to the Military base while he capped all the garrisons.

The one time we lost the Military base he was back to help cap it.

The other team was severely overwhelmed.

:honoring: Raise a toast to Capt. Underpants.

I get lucky sometimes.  Part of that luck in this battle was having a team mate, you, who understood the strategic value of that central Military Base and worked to keep it.  Well done!
