I've got a question that I hope someone can answer.  I have a buddy who just started playing last week, who's playing on a fairly large, 4k monitor.  With the native resolution, everything is very small and hard to see.  When he tried to change the resolution in game, he said his mouse started lagging really bad, and the lag would continue after the game closed until he rebooted his computer.  Once he bounced it, everything was back to normal until he started the game again.  The game runs normally with the native resolution, with no lag at all.  he tried both the SD and HD clients and had the same problem.  He's tried a clean re-install.  He's tried starting the game and then killing the gamecenter.

Has anyone else had an issue like this, and if so, how do you resolve it IF you can resolve it?  Thanks.

I would recommend he submit a ticket.  Sometimes support does come through. (blind squirrels and all that)

if he is using a wireless mouse, see if he can try a mouse on a wire.

He tried a both a wire and wireless mouse.  I will suggest he can write a ticket

The official position is that World of Warplanes does not support 4K screen resolution and there are no plans to support 4K. I've been complaining about the small text/loading images failing to scale for months now and that's what I've been told.

As far as the mouse goes, could he record what's happening and post it here so we can take a look and try to help him out?

Cheers!
Glenn

Make sure mouse acceleration (in windows and/or any 3rd party mouse software) is off.  Try playing the game in windowed mode.  Just a couple brainstorms there. Hopefully there's some fix so your friend can fly with you.

He was able to get it to work properly by adjusting his resolution in windows to match the resolution he wanted to use in game.
