I put up with just about anything. But this bovine fecal matter "calibration" thing is pissing me off. 7 times in a row and then FINALLY a gain. Of about 6 points.

It's Stooooopud and a waste of time and parts. Get rid of the poopy covered RNG slot machine. I (and everyone else) hate the intercoursing thing.

Have a thread with this same name.. This system sucks badly & needs to change or ease up some if they don't want to come up with entirely new system.

If you want to specialize a higher tier aircraft expect to spend a few million credits. End of story.  It's pretty easy to build up credits with a prem account, unlike WOT. Tier 7 prems easily make over 100k per match whereas WOT you're lucky to get 20k.  After a few negative rolls I just stop & come back to it later. One thing I did was just stick to my fav planes and don't Spec. or buy anything for a while. Before you know it you'll have millions of credits in the bank & hundreds of materials so all those negative rolls won't hurt as much. <o

Anyone else ever notice that the meter looks a lot like a swing meter from 1990s NES golf games? :)

I have hundreds of millions of credits. I don't care about the credits. I have a lot of materials as well. Patience and a lack of rage are the 2 things I seem to be lacking.

Yup.  I don't calibrate, ever.   Crazy thing is, I have a metric boatload of all the parts, EXCEPT mechanical parts.  Luckily, I just discovered why.  The mechanical parts happen when you win playing bomber.  Grinding out the specialization on my B-32 means mechanical parts are raining from the sky...

Yep.  I got over 12K mech parts.  Now if I could only trade for some heat treated parts.   sigh   :(

Now see, that's fair. I wish I could click a button and it just calibrated until it hit max or I ran out of parts/money.... Won't lie about that. Heck, they could even charge me slightly more than its possible to roll it out for just so I didn't have to click as much.

I've always had a premium account and I pretty much just tread water on credits.  Numerous planes unlocked that I can't afford to purchase, and several unused premiums I can't afford to outfit.  I've resorted to just doing my camo and nose art with gold now because of the credit crunch.

You also have to fly premium planes.  My premium planes print credits.  When I get below 15 million credits, I start playing my premiums, and premiums only until I get my money back up there.  I have three grinds I'm doing right now, and my credit outlay to get them all to T10 will be in excess of 30 million.  I will be flying my premiums a lot.  (Planes, equipment, specialization, modules, etc. etc.)

I just don't have time to fly a lot.  Flew about 15 battles since the end of the work week last night and got over a million. But....I also spent about 2000 gold on things I can't buy with credits anymore and I need well over 10 million to buy and equip the planes I've unlocked or never flown yet.

That's interesting. I don't currently have a premium account. But I admit that once you get a couple hundred million you don't pay attention anymore.

I'll start checking though and see if I am treading water or going backwards. I know I always make silver and that was not always the case.

And it ain't because I'm a great pilot. :amazed:

Personally I hover around 20 Mil credits due to spending on junk and new planes in my standard account.

Since my return I have noticed making more credits in higher tiers than 1.9.

Use to be you could only afford to fly high tiers for a few battles then had to drop down to lower tiers.

Now you can fly high tiers, do a little damage, lose your plane and still make a little something.

There is another issue.  WG admitted that skill level is taken into account when awarding credits.  The better you are, the few credits you get.

I'll have to dig it up.  There are at least two threads that discuss it here.  And another one elsewhere - IIRC.
