I've created a new club for bomber player's who have obtained 1,000 or more Doolittle Awards, and 1,000 or more Lang Awards.

Please send me a message if you are qualified to join and want to sign up.

Sincerely,

Prenzlau

Subtract all medals earned with the pre-nerf RB-17 (when it was super OP, mostly top tier, and was the only tier 8 bomber in the game) and reassess qualification requirements. Cheers! <o

I could add that to be a member you have to have a bomber efficiency rating above 30%.

It is one thing when someone has a witty point to make, it is another thing when someone just wants to be noticed.....

Maybe it is time you start acting like a leader and less like a rival?

Why not ? that is how you make rank in the U.S. Army.

Time in service.

Except the Doolittle and the Lang are awards for skill in battle, not endurance. They only look like endurance awards because I have a lot of them.

It's just the same old, same old disrespect from Mars. Community Aces should be leaders and good examples, correct? Otherwise why have them?

I'm not sure how I can appease Mars, other than throwing battles or regressing to a simpler minded fellow. If it is respect he desires, he'll have to earn it like everyone else.

That awkward moment when you equated Lang and Doolittle to skill.

When I posted a thread about bombers being disrespected, some people thought that was all about me being vain and trolling controversy. Mars like many players isn't afraid to show his true colors and sentiments. If acquiring Doolittle Awards was easy, then I imagine there would be other players with tons of them on their resumes, but this is not the case. Even other full time bombers with thousands of sorties and battles struggle to accumulate Doolittle's. Why? Because you have to achieve 400 capture points in a single sortie without dying. So while Mars belittles the skill aspect, anyone who understands and flies bombers will understand that each Doolittle is an amazing feat of skill and savvy. The Lang is similar, you need 15 ground targets in a single sortie, again without dying. Players who are learning or struggle with bombers probably will understand the difficulty in achieving both these awards.

If you eliminate the tier 3 bomber battles that I have flown because you cannot earn those awards at tier 3, that leaves me with 5,285 bomber eligible battles. I currently have 1,114 Doolittle's. So that means I achieve a Doolittle in 21% of my battles or 1 out of 5. I achieve a Lang in 19% or again 1 out 5 battles. Considering the difficulty in some battles being superiority (for my team), 3 cap maps, being flighted with another elite bomber where ground targets are not as plentiful, or any of many other reasons why I cannot obtain as many ground targets, my skill in a bomber is actually far above any statistics that this game has. So this game actually limits my ability in a bomber.

I knew there would be nothing from WG to recognize or celebrate such an achievement so I celebrated it myself. This game is all about blowing up other planes, that is where the adrenaline is. They created bombers to be part of this game, but I suspect they just wanted more large and slower moving targets for the armed to the brim planes types to shoot down. So how dare I fly a bomber, be extremely effective and defend myself from destruction! How dare I. (drops the mic)

ROFLMAO.

Did not realize you would take my comment personal and as derogatory.

I spent too much time in the ARMY and dealt with too many people that did not deserve their rank or title.

I see no reason why anyone could not make a " Club for Elitist " that is only open to a select few.

Based on certain criteria.

Doesn't matter if its quantity, quality or whatever.

If you didn't like MARS response then you should have just ignored it.

As for Community Aces. They were defunct when 1.5 started.

Now it is just a label we earned. While I have tried not to troll recently, its is hard when you are human.
