In a Tier 8 German Ga. Watching where 2 red GAs were attacking a mining plant, headed over there to defend it.  Was almost there when they locked it.  No prob there, but then the red GAs disappeared. They were nowhere to be seen. Poofed. No way those GAs made it out of all radar range that fast. Uh huh.

The bots will literally act like you have forward cannons even if you do not. I.E. if you go straight down their throat, they break off and run. Only seems to work in normal flight mode, not turret or bombsight.

I will also label the "player bot" aggression level difference and differences in "player bot" skill level between aircraft types to be cheats.  It takes the player out of "player versus player" and essentially is giving one set of bots an unfair advantage over the other set of bots, which...is cheating.

So you ARE starting to see the pattern!

 

The bots become more aggressive after the squall, and they also get a skill bump.  But, if you know that already, you have the advantage. 

 

I'll tell you some other stuff: Expert level bots know what control inputs you're making in real time.  That's how they know where not to be when you press the trigger.  Bot HFs know when you go into bombsight mode on your bomber.  ADA become more shifty and take less damage after the squall.

I can easily see why the devs coded the HF attack while in bombsight mode

I can't see the reason for bothering to add code to make ADA harder to kill after squall

but hey, you do notice more stuff than I do

It feels as if the enemy bots also know when you have them targeted.

Man.. last night I was down by a node and 20 points so I went -hard- and ended up with 10 after squall kills and a win. I guess I shouldn't cheat like that huh?

I'm not sure, either.  But you can get directly on their tail, as they fly straight - then press the trigger.  Watch as their health bar remains static.  Keep watching.  Now wait until they turn.  Finally, except they don't melt like they did before squall.  Hmmm.  Are the hit boxes smaller, or are the planes just tougher?  I don't know.  They also don't seem to be as stupid, either - like they will turn from novice to expert, especially if they are the last remaining...

Two additional aircraft to not ignore when they get within 1.5km - Go-229 and Ta-152.  Know where they are.  Know what way they are pointed.  Take action accordingly.

Did you know that  the bots are actually real people that are paid to play this game and pose as bots.

It is the current Air Force training regime of Soviet military before you qualify to fly actual planes. 

The U.S. is also planning on adopting this pre training system for our Air Force. 

The U.S. Army Armor units have been using it for some time now ( WOT ) 

It was discovered that it was more beneficial, fun and realistic than their previous UCOFT ( Unit Conduct Of Fire Training )  simulator training systems. 

Cheaper too.

AA gun aimbot and damage cheats.  Flak doing damage when not exploding anywhere near a player, drastically changing aim when you change course to avoid, AND prioritizing players over other bots.

Tier 10 Javelin bot cheating with super aimbot and topping the score chart for both teams, and of course the bot skill was not the same on both teams.

Bots of various tiers are using their knowledge of the entire map and all enemy locations inappropriately (aka "map hacks") to chase down players (head-hunting), when that player is not in range of other enemies and should not be "visible" on the map to the map hacking bot.

I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything - I'm looking for data. Is it possible that there was an opposing aircraft (either player or bot) who could see you but you couldn't see? That would easily explain this scenario IMO. AFAIK the only way to be sure of this would be if you could see where all of the opposing aircraft were, their view range, your view range, spotting distances, etc.
