I played this game  again after a break and I saw some planes named Air Defense Fighters, I believe, iirc. How do I deal with them, they seem to be bigger than normal should I be avoiding them?

The white ones are a variety of heavy and light fighters as far as I have seen. Just shoot them down like any other plane. getting rid of them can get you a base, but also makes it easier to take out any ground targets needed to secure a base. You'll note they die a bit quicker than red planes. Also they are programmed to different levels. They are not always just an easy kill.

The only white ones who gave me trouble were the ones I let sneak up on me because I got mono-focused or arrogant.

Yes you should be worried about the ADA ( air defense aircraft ) .

When they are white you want to shoot as many of them as possible.

Starting with the heavies.

Shooting them will help you capture a sector.

If the red team captures a sector they will re-spawn as red ADA.

Again shoot them to change the sector to blue.

ADAs are bots that defend cap points, they'll stay within or close to the cap they are defending.

White for a neutral cap (both teams can attack), Blue for friendly & Red on enemy team.

You get points towards flipping the cap for killing ADA. (otherwise by shooting down enemies over the cap or GA/Bombers blowing up ground targets)

ADA will respawn either after a cap flips or after a couple of minutes from being shot down.

When the cap flips any ADA from that cap will explode within next few seconds (but they can shoot you down in the meantime)

Different cap types have different ADA composition (more or less Lights, Plants have no ADA, none have more than 2 Heavy ADA).

The ADA are a bit dumber than regular bots & have mainly nerfed stats, making them easier to kill than normal bots.

It can be tempting to ignore them to attack players & normal bots but if you do ignore them ADAs will get on your tail & kill you sooner or later depending on how actively you're maneuvring/if you break clear of the cap point.

Heavy ADAs are very dangerous to a solo Light flying low altitude, they take turns making diving, high-speed attacks & they aren't afraid to ram.

It can take some effort to dodge their fire & rams -> turn & get some shots off at them before having to dodge the next.

Don't shoot the blue ADAs.

Shooting blue humans who are playing so poorly that they are, essentially, helping the enemy team is perfectly acceptable (just use the mod that shows who the bots are so you know it's a stupid human you're shooting at and not a poor bot that's limited by the idiotic #RussianLogic programing it has received from a game developer that doesn't understand how to play their own game).

I forgot to mention.

Allow your heavy fighter to lead into the area first.

The ADA will automatically go after the heavy.

As they are climbing you can take out as many as possible.

If a multi-role leads then they all dive.

OK I have to go down the rabbit hole with this one.

If you shoot the blue ADA will it capture for red.

I believe it does. I haven't tested, but I recall seeing players and ada bots collide on occasion resulting in capture points earned for the red team.  It would have to work that way, otherwise you could just shoot down your own blue fighters to prevent the enemy capturing a zone.  THAT would be an interesting tactic if it was available.

I still advocate shooting down bad, foolish, idiot human teammates and leaving the poor blue bots alone.

Sadly, the heavy fighter will attract the enemy ADA onto its tail....because it will DIVE ON GROUND TARGETS TO BOMB THEM, instead of attack the ADA.  /facepalm.  Retarded devs programming retarded ai.  #RussianLogic #NeedsMoarVodki

i'm floored that anyone that i respect would consider this a winning game strategy

but it's better than crushing stupid drivers with a giant truck, and admittedly we've both considered that    ;)

but driving on US roads = not considered a team sport

Since when ? most families have 2 cars.

How do you think you get points on your license ?

Driving in U.S. has to be a team sport, a tag team sport.

Why else would cars have bumpers ?

The roads have out of bounds markings.

I do not advocate shooting down friendly aircraft in any situation. I may PM them and give them advice if they are new. But I do not try to chase them away.

(even if they are new and have 45 battles and a 28% W/R in a Tier 6 or higher pemium)

Education beats destruction in my book. They may stick around.    :honoring:

Glad to see you back Mercsn.

Oh, it usually starts there and after repeatedly being subjected to a fresh idiot ruining the next match, repeated frequently enough, is enough to lead me to believe they MUST be double agents working for the enemy (and that they need to be dealt with appropriately).

Although, this week I did get two "thank you's" instead of a chat ban...so far.
