^This.  The swarm of air-to-air planes when one is on the attacking team is just incredible. 

 

Imma trying with a Heavy Fighter right now.  To me, it's kinda fun to shoot a lot of planes down, but it's like Custer's Last Stand.  Increasing the number of potential respawns for the attacking team is not a solution because you have to spend time getting back to the battle.  And when you do get there, it's only a matter of time before the swarm arrives.  I've been carrying ordnance on my heavies so I can cap better in the brief moments when I don't have 3 or 4 bots on me.

A heavy that can -turn- is good in this, and at high tiers at least.. if you have time and like LFs, try the Swift or the P1101. Its quite a joy because of their inherent speed capacity coupled with good turn and high-powered guns IMHO. The other thing I've been seeing -rip- it up is the Japanese and German MRFs, but I gather from reading here on the forums that the second piece of their stuff is quite.. grindy?

But really though.. I -keep- getting shot down by human controlled japanese MRFS. It's tickling my idea center into considering finishing my japanese MRF grind at least lOL

My Dora and T9 Batplane have been magic.  This mode suits the MRF for some reason.

 

The grind from elite to specialized takes a while, no lie.  For the Dora, it was mostly worth it.  For the Batplane, it was night/day.

I load bombs/ rockets on multi role and end up on defending.

Take bomb/ rockets off and end up on attack.

Seriously come on you [edited]laden MM get with the program.

Probably one of the easier modes to understand.  I had a good night both defending and attacking but some of the scenarios are just impossible - like defending when the missile base flips and you can't flip it back.

 

Do they always suspend the daily missions for these events?  Hadn't noticed until this one.  Was trying to finish a mission where I had to win and be number one for damage to aerial targets.  Was defending in a mid-tier spit and got #1 but didn't get credit for the mission (several times)  Getting ranked number 1 doesn't always mean you got the most aerial kills/damage but defending in this mode, it kinda does as you can't flip sectors.

Agreed, But all the modes are these days.

They do suspend the daily missions except in the one last week which was conquest mode.  You can still get Tier I, II, and III done.

i saw that too     there were certainly a lot of them, weren't there?

 

i can see the coding grinding away inside their little bot brains when 3 bot heavies flew as one tight team        i applaud that, WG... it's a great tactic
