among pilot's skills, there are 'Engine Guru I & II' that improves engine performance by 3% and 5% respectively.

Once pilot gains both, they reflects the increase of rate of climb, while only 'Engine Guru I' don't.

Let me know whether it is bug or so small that it can't reflect on specification.

I personally don't know if Engine Guru I works or not. I have Both Engine Guru I & II on many planes but i don't really look to see if it helps very much.

Why shouldn't it work?

I don't know. My only plane that I have it on is my Ju-288A, and I've never really noticed its effects too much.

An average player with an average goal: greatness, someday. Today, mediocrity will have to suffice. But no matter, I will always play to the best of my ability, and I will always strive to make the best of my ability just that little bit stronger and better.

Definitely not a bug. Engine Guru II gives additional speed which also affects the climb rate that is why it probably might be more noticeable.

Engine thrust is a hidden stat they don't want to show us

Do you have any pilots with out the engine guru skill ?

or new pilots.

You can cross train for 100K silver to that particular plane then after about 5 matches he will be 100%.

Then you can switch the pilots out and see if there is a noticeable difference in handling.

I have skilled pilot who is sufficient to gain both Engine Guru I and II and perfectly trained.

What I wanna know is that once pilot has only Engine Guru I, why it don't reflect on any specifications as rate of climb.

By Doing test using XF-90 Pilot, I compared Enging Guru I skill and a consumable that its thrust improvement is same as the skill.

Despite same thrust improvement, it was wondering that consumable reflects well while Engine Guru I don't. That is because I wanna know whether it is a bug or not.

However, a consumable for engine to have same thrust improvement reflects. In that sense I wonder as I mentioned above.

During comparative study between Engine Guru I and II, and Engine Guru I and consumable 'Improved Mixture control', I have had a doubt about that I mentioned above.

However once it is not a bug definitely, first I should agree that.

thanks for your answer.

Hanger stats do not reflect pilot skills yet.

Technically, engine thrust affects speed with and without boost activated. In the Hangar it is displayed in 3 stats:

1. Acceleration without boost

2. Acceleration with boost activated

3. Rate of climb

Still, as mnbv_fockewulfe correctly points out, pilot skills effect is not displayed in the Hangar currently.

Quick question. On one of my planes i have the equipment that lowers boost duration but increases acceleration when boosting. Why does it say i have 8 seconds of boost time when in battle it only gives me 7 seconds?

Edit: I have been wondering about this for a while but never asked.
