Why don't we already have this? WoWS has always had it and it is VERY helpful, as I do recall.

I always want to know when a contact of mine is in a battle as opposed to in the hangar.

Would you guys like to see this? If so, answer in the poll and discuss.

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

I just assume Ace is always in battle, cause he never talks to me.

Guys, guys, guys. Calm down. This isn't some cheeky scheme of the NSA. Take a chill pill and relax a little, will ya?

"Privacy issues" Dead wrong. Stalkers can be blacklisted, you know. But is it even really necessary to be very worried about privacy issues in this game? I'm not sure it really is. The number of true despicable fun-ruining scumbags in this game at worst could probably be counted on the fingers of both hands, but personally, I'm not even sure any exist. I've never run across one myself, and judging by the near complete and total absence of forum topics about such, most other players in this game probably haven't, either.

Bobby, that sentence of yours is incomprehensibility personified. What does that even mean? What does that have to do with anything? It isn't productive discussion and it doesn't really make any sense in the context of this thread.

If this were WoT where toxicity(and players) abound, sure I'd be wary of a new feature that allows anyone to get more detailed information on what I am doing.

But that's just it. This isn't WoT, this is WoWP, where bots and relative peace abound, and the players that are around are generally respectful and honorable, not to mention usually considerate people, with a few exceptions here and there as there always are.

Bobby, I think, if your post meant what I think it was supposed to mean(there's no guarantee of that though), I believe you are HIGHLY over-reacting and treating WoWP more like everything WoT, including its common toxicity, juxtaposed into a setting with planes. This game is not that at all.

I probably misread it, but what I took away from it is that you are a INCREDIBLY PARANOID individual who can't stand ANYONE seeing ANYTHING that you do, even in a game. You seem to me like the kind of person who only goes out in public in full black, with a black hoodie, black baseball cap, and sun glasses as well. They stick to the shadows, as if they were playing spy or something.

WOW, where do I begin with this thread and who do I charge for the coffee I just spit out all over my rig from laughing.

Ace, Bobby and Captain definitely made this thread forum worthy. +1 to you all and a big :honoring::medal:

While LB gets a double:facepalm::facepalm:

As I recall when you invite someone to a flight it tells you they are in battle and will get your invite after battle.

Has that changed since 2.0 ?

All you need to do is wait for them to exit battle. Sure it could be a ten minute wait for their battle to end.

If you really want to flight up then by all means wait.

So many complaints from people about bugs and WG not fixing them that people actually have the nerve to add one more bug

Seriously, Wg decides to implement LB's idea then KOBOOM everybody ends up with black screen issues.

This new generation has lost the ability to actually think.

The title of many of these threads should be " WG, here is another idea for adding bugs to the game. Please try this "

Yes it has changed since 2.0. I have certainly never have seen anything like that. If I had, this thread wouldn't exist. Because the game client no longer provides such information, at least so far that I have seen.

Also, as I pointed out, WoWS has this exact thing that I am requesting and it works perfectly and smoothly. But let's face it. EVERYTHING in WoWP has been, is now, or will be in the future broken/bugged out. Using that fact as an excuse to not implement new helpful user interface features makes no sense whatsoever. If you didn't want any bugs, if you weren't prepared to deal with any bugs, you most likely would not be playing this game. Bugs are a fact of life in this game, and probably always will be. But just because something may bug out is not a good argument against its implementation, because as I said, everything in this game bugs out from time to time. Judge a feature according to its merits, not whether it will bug out.

wrong,

we got this game because people whined

we got this game because they thought if they build it they will come

we got this swirling, sinking flushbucket because people wanted pretty bows

I'm hoping someday, somebody will ask:

why is this game barely supporting 2k players

is 2k the high watermark or was there a better standard to base off of

.

and I will answer...

"because you listened to the wrong whiners"

I won't be wrong

:amazed:
