Well, as much as I like and want more new planes, I would have to agree. At the very least, huge numbers of bug fixes and a way to make them permanent needs to be a higher priority than new planes, although separate teams do each and they can do both at the same time.

it seems nary any team can do anything to eliminate bugs

bugs are made by the team

bugs do not seemed to be addressed as fast as they're created

god save the queen

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Yes, the article states "We aren't disclosing the two top models yet. Suffice it to say that they are not your regular aircraft, although they indeed existed and flew in real life. We believe the aviation history enthusiasts will easily guess what we're talking about."

The B-50 and B-52 are possible choices, although WG may surprise us.

I'd say they might bring the YB49 and XB53 as the top tiers for USA, they said they will surprise us lol.

how about balanced games? with real 50% win and 50% loss,    not 90% loss and 10% win.

Or you could learn to play the game by asking for help.

There is plenty of help via YouTube and WOWP forum searches.

I left my info flight time on another thread.

I've had some success with the MiG-15bis.

Sure they did.   WOT had a unique tier 8 gift as part of its recruitment program, for years, the Т95Е2.    The only way to get it was recruiting someone.   Unfortunately, it was not a good tank, and also didn't earn bonus credits   (it was a gift tank, not a prem tank)

Tanks recently changed its recruitment program to one where you can choose a tier 8 prem from a changing list of choices.

I missed that era but on a broader stroke how long has WG been teasing the 82 and players want it so why the recruit wall.

Bringing in minor countries but omitting arguably the most important allied country of all. Why is WG ignoring Canada? Most European aviators from conquered countries were trained in Canada, the planes built in Canada and flown over to theatre by Canadians yet after 5 years of playing this game not even an honourable mention. More than 130,000 crewmen and women were trained between 1939 and 1945, making this one of Canada's great contributions to Allied victory in the war. It led United States President Franklin Roosevelt to call Canada the "aerodrome of democracy." Canadians flew bomber, fighter, reconnaissance, transport, and other missions around the world. Tens of thousands of Canadian air crew also served with Britain's Royal Air Force and Canadian fighter aircraft participated in the epic Battle of Britain in 1940. More than 17,000 Canadian airmen perished during the war. As a long time WoWP player I find the deliberate omission of a separate Canadian tech tree very disappointing and insulting.

Ya know, my one missing things from this wishlist:

Could we make it say 500 or 1000 games minimum (in 2.xx) to post outside the Newcomers' area? I'm mildly tired of having to scroll through the spam of non-playing accounts who post trolls, etc.

Great Idea! Now name me a Canadian built aircraft that fits the timeline NOT named CL-13...

PvP mode that has been 'teased'. OK - I'll bite. Wasn't World of Warplanes a PvP game at one point? I haven't read the forums in a couple months but last I saw, the developers were insisting World of Warplanes was still a PvP game...

Question to Wargaming: what are the plans to attract and retain new players to this PvP mode?

Cheers!
Glenn

Get rid of specialization already.  Geeesh.. why keep slopping that garbage all over.  Just because you stick a bow on it doesn't make it smell any better.  Specialization hoses up the balance of the game, WG isn't even considering specialization in MM, and the only folks who like it are the ones who spam Spits with calibration and stats lottery winning gear.  For most planes it really offers nothing.

Also locking planes behind recruitment walls?  Talk about a stab to the face.  Not even WoT or WoWS does this.

I don't think you all are thinking some of this WoWS stuff you are doing through very well.

How about making ENERGY management matter again?  How about actually making planes bleed speed in tight turns again?  Ya know, make BnZ a thing again?

WG has been pretty clear that specialization is here to stay and that your position appears to be a minority one in their analytics.

Your other two points aren't real.

Full stop.

Fockwulfe, you're on my ignore list for a reason even if it doesn't work like a normal ignore list.

It's because you're a 400 game player who is constantly salty and provides no value to the conversation as far as my opinion goes. :)

Edited to add: Have you tried flying more. It seems like maybe.. if you .... played the game... you might know something about it. Since you don't..

I personally don't hate specialization anymore, as I've recently said. It isn't the end of the world, it isn't gamebreaking, and specialist planes aren't invincible. It doesn't grant them a magical shield or anything.

The only thing I think is still a little weird with regards to specialization is that you have to buy the specialist configuration. Why? I don't quite get it. Shouldn't it be free once you've completed the missions and unlocked it on a specific plane?

I'm pretty sure that it's just me who feels that way though.

What can I say, I'm a bit of an odd duck from time to time.

1. I've never had a huge about of time to play the game (sans 4500 battles 1.x in 4 1/2 years ie 100 battles a month)

2. I find 2.0 less enjoyable hence I have have less battles in this version

3. Battles take longer on average so it's harder for me to get into it without having to invest a whole hour session in.

4. I've earned my right to be salty

5. I actually got really excited about the "plans for 2019" post

6. I now spend more time on the discord channel instead of the forums because accessibility and a lot of my friends are there

7. After 3,300 posts I've contributed a lot to the discussion, not that you've cared to read any of it

8. I don't find the conversations on the forum to be all that interesting given the people doing the conversing

9. I keep getting logged out of the forum so if you got a response from me it was probably a troll post

10. If you read that you had to click the "view post anyway" button which shows an extreme lack of self control.

11. If you read this see number 10

12. I'm the only one I know of that regularly ish hosts community events (so yes, I do play the game enough to know something about it, you can also look up a number of mods I've done, flight physics essays, feedback essays, game balance essays, etc, etc)

13. All you contribute to the community is your ignore list which must be a mile long

  • We haven't forgotten about the PvP mode we promised to the game veterans. The development of this mode is in full swing now. Expect to be able to utilize all of your piloting and firing skills without having to divert your attention to bots or ground objects.

OK that's good, with those fighter supremacists and head hunters gone to their own game mode, can we poor non-fighters get ours as well?

I went as far as going to WT only to find out that it's even more dogfight-centered and even less playable for GAA/bombers after wasting the most painful 5 hours in my life.

It's been about 3 months, and I can't find a thing to replace "paying silver in WOWP to play GAA in practice flights". We're close to 2020s and it's still so difficult to find some particular game types...

I agree with that. But I also understand it as a "grind" mechanic so... I dunno. I'm torn on that one. I do wish the Calibration system was better explained somewhere easily accessible.

Nah, 6 players actually. You make the distinction because you don't -actually- play enough games to be worthy of my consideration of your opinion on 2.xx while constantly posting to complain. Every once in a while I click just to see what you've posted because I keep hoping... but *shrug* 3300 posts and bunches of time on discord.. makes you a keyboard turner to my view. Not someone I would call a source of game knowledge unless you're here for the social aspect. Your 1.xx games and contributions are all mooted by the fact it no longer exists. Also, you can call it lack of self control, I call it fruitlessly hoping someone might mature beyond being just a non-stop complainer. I've read many of your posts... you contribute negatively. If that's contribution to you, then I'm good on your "helpfulness".

Thank you for confirming there's no need to keep occasionally checking to see if your contributions are worthwhile to me however.

GL and see you in the skies one day hopefully. I'd dearly like -that-.

so...

people who've never been given the respect they know they deserve

seem to be always angry and lashing out at perceived enemies

said... tilting at windmills

some folks just waste their lives fighting shadows

it's hard to help some people despite themselves

I dunno how to help

so...
