Hi team,

 

Now that the ASIA server is finally up an running will there be a transfer window for those players who started on NA and then transferred their WoT accounts across?

 

Been playing the ASIA WoWP server and the ping is a lot better and the game more enjoyable. Not to mention I have a lot of money invested in my NA account and would like to be able to use the planes I bought on ASIA.

 

It has been usual practice to allow transfers when a new server opens up.

We've been trying to do that for 5+ years now to transfer account from one region to another, and it is not possible.

Not because it is not technically possible but because these games are run by WG.

 

Example from WoT:

WG NA promised transfer of accounts to AUS/EU servers respectively, after one central server was created, which ruined game for many people (incl. me). After some delay, they managed to transfer to AUS/ASIA server people, but for EU nothing happened, because WG NA and WG EU are incompetent as hell.

I transfer my WoT account from NA to ASIA back in 2012.

Was a mass transfer of a lot of players.

See no reason why that couldn't happen again

just remember you transfer account NOT planes you are where you are on the specific server

I can't understand why they wouldn't work with a central server for accounts.
Once logged in to that server, you would get a summary of the number of players logged in, ping and people on your friendlist on each server. From that window you could either let the account-server make an automatic connection to the 'best' server atm or let you choose manually.


I started out on EU server, but left for a couple of years, when i came back, game wouldn't load. Did some troubleshooting to make it work again, but accidentaly ended up with NA-installer instead of EU; Was already in Tier IV-V when i've noticed that and there is no way back that includes transferring your hangar.

As soon as transfers will be available, we'll publish a dedicated to it announcement. I'm afraid, in the beginning transfers will be suggested only for Japanese players who played on NA previously.

Wait, what? so non-Japanese Asian players who have played on NA doesn't count?

OK now I can answer the question:

The account transfer is only for players in Japan... WTH, what about the rest of Asia?

  thats the answer i got from my ticket especially when the server is in ASIA cluster ... why ? any reason any info on if i will have a chance to transfer considering i live in Australia .... 

and to answer the ticket no i am no longer enjoying the game  ... i have always been long time wargaming supporter
