After going up against them in many matches, I finally got paired up together for a great match with ClosedCoffin while I was running my tier 8 USSR fighter, the Yak-15. o7 Music is Khazad Dhun - Come Together.

Ive always loved how well she flys, but her guns feel lacking most of the time.

After viewing this I went and found my version of this and it's obvious you carried us to this win.

In fact I had named the video 'honorabili carries in Yak-15'. :P

I was very inefficient and was lucky to cap 2 bases.

That seems a very nimble fighter and you handled it nicely.

I like mine, but the lack of "finishing power" relegates it to playing once in awhile.

This is true but if you can evade an enemy's initial atack on a 1vs1, it will win in most fights.

Until another plane comes in and wipes you out... lol

I sold my Yak 15 tonight and got the I-250 I had just finished grinding, and had an amazing first 3 games before reset.

Perfect example of a plane that is much better  than it's raw "stats.

The I-250 starts with 3X20mm guns and they can finish a plane off (I shot down 4 of the new JU288's in one game and never died)  where as the 2X23 mm's on the Yak 15 cannot.

The coolest thing about the I-250 is it handles better than it's stats, and has both a prop and a jet so it makes both sounds at different times.

Anyway, Be well,

Gunny

Truth.

I fly it as a burst gun fighter, that can hang on the tail of anything.  Unlike the Me-208, which hits super hard and can vertical BnZ, the -15 nibbles.  One second burst, pause, one second burst, pause, check six, one second burst, hard break to avoid bot MRF, reacquire target, one second burst...

I was talking about a 1vs1 fight. Trust me, you do not want to go 1vs1 against a Yak or any Japanese fighter.

I sure do.  Both of them wilt like flowers in a flame under the guns of a heavy fighter.  I have killed so many human-powered Yaks in my Me-262s that it's almost not a challenge any more.
