See above. Curious what the options are, ranging from (and preferring) free-as-dirt software, up to fancier stuff. Thinking of trying my hand at it.

For capturing video OBS Studio works well & is free. You can live stream, record live game play or record from replays. https://obsproject.com/

 

For video editing there are several free ones, here are a couple OpenShot https://www.openshot.org/ or VideoPad https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/

OBS 64 bit , and i have camera overlay , or image overlay , and you can get davinci resolve for composite stuff for free that does like 5 adobe products that youd have to pay monthly for and i have a few other apps that can manipulate mkv or mp4 files
