See you all there.

I'm doing somethings a little different this time.

We'll start the night at T5, then work our way up to T7.

After we've had our fill of serious gameplay we'll do something silly. :P

I unlocked the Ascender juuuust in time it seems!

Also an idea for silly:

a fight with Nothing but Crazy premiums and gift planes.

... I am curious how many oddball rarely seen planes come out of the woodwork.

Fair warning. My success rate at speculative guesswork is on par with my WinRate. Hit or Miss.

Do you all run fully specialized, or do you occasionally run scrimms with everything locked in at stock configurations, to keep performance on a uniform level? Wondering what I should gear up for....

I won't answer for him, but I will tell you my experience:

In each of the events I've seen, the only real restrictions were that we not have an odd number of bombers.  In addition, it was requested a couple of times that folks swap from one aircraft type to another.  IOW, if we had 7 heavy fighters, some folks would switch to some other aircraft type.  I never heard of a request for non-specialized, non-gold ammo, nor non-premium aircraft.

Thanks for the early reply corvus.

I do not restrict the use of specialist because there is no function within the game to allow me to.

Heck, the UI doesn't even reflect whether a plane is specialist or not until we enter the battle.

So far, the number of specialist planes has evened out between the combatents so the number of specialist planes does not noticeably affect the balance of the battle. Team coordination and an uneven number of players on a team have a far greater impact on which side will win.

I therefore see no reason to restrict the use specialist planes.

Hope we are all alive on Saturday.

Pakistan and India ready to nuke each other..

Now the Korea summit just fell apart very suddenly.

(Probably that scumbag Pompeo and Bolton messed it up on purpose)

Well.. If the internet is running, I will see you then.

If not... hope you all are good with your maker.

Gunny
