Q. Grenoli, I understand that this question has already fanged away on edge, BUT: is the introduction of 1.9 planned as a different mode, or is this possibility considered by developers at least?

A. Greetings. No, we do not plan to return 1.9 as a separate mode or as a separate server. This possibility is not even considered.

Q. I would clarify the question before: Do you plan to support 64-bit client using the x86-64 architecture in PM, the address space is above 4 GB and optimization for the register system of 64-bit processors? (Because you can compile x64 with the same compilation flags, which will not be better than anything but will not run on 32).

A. Greetings. Planned work in this direction, but at the moment they are suspended.

Q. 1) Does the rocket from the base of hit points or invulnerable? Can it be at least theoretically destroyed or knocked down with a ram?

2) so much testing the "escort" mode, but something appears on the stock. Will it appear permanently? Is it possible at high levels of the regime of escorting and intercepting carriers of atomic weapons?

A. Greetings.

1. No, now the rockets have no hit points, it cannot be shot down-destroyed by a ram. As will be in the future - we will see.
2. Coming soon. On an ongoing basis - while the issue under discussion. There is a desire to make several parallel modes. For nuclear weapons - no, it will not be in the game. It would be boring.

So no 64-bit WoWP? I expected that because of the RU WoWP player base. Their systems are not up to that technology. WoWP has so many software governors holding it down. And destroying a rocket base would go against the "Hello Kitty" culture. Physics in WoWP? We don't need that.

I kinda always wanted a classic cold war nuclear strike game where you're flying cool nuke bombers like Victor, TSR-2 or Hustler trying to low-altitude penetrate Soviet air-defenses & drop your load, routes based on de-classified attack plans/defenses, nukes going off around you as you go...

Anyway, yes most of those answers are no surprise and water is wet.

No progress on a X64 version is a shame though.

I used to play a war game back in the day that had nukes.  If I remember right, they were tactical nukes delivered by missiles though.  It usually triggered an all out launch of nukes by both sides which ended in a lose/lose scenario.  I can't remember the name of that game though.

The closest thing to anything like that that is available these days is First Strike: Final Hour

world of Warships just dropped support for 32 bit operating systems.  Per the 0.8.1 patch notes:

Transition to 64-Bit Systems:

Starting from Update 0.8.1, we are terminating support for 32-bit (x86) operating systems. The game client will not launch on these systems.

Well, that means this thing can't run it anymore. Well, that's perfectly fine. First of all, with the CV rework being the disaster it is, I probably won't ever come back, and even if I do, this laptop that I type this on is so poor that it can't even run WoWP reasonably smoothly, let alone WoWS. I have to borrow another computer to play WoWP. Thank goodness this thing will soon just be a bad memory.

I am beginning to wonder if half the bugs in WoWP is because of the 32-bit system setup. But then again you know how the RU love their old computers. Ditch the Zero and get with the Hero, I say.
