So, I was having problems with another game and saw this gem and tried it out. (Windows 10 17134.523 OS Build)  My framerates jumped dramatically when I did this in full screen mode.  (Very High settings)

find the exe for wowp.  right click on it, then click on properties.  then click on compatibility mode.  then put a check mark in "Disable full screen optimizations".  click apply, then ok.  run wowp.

test your frame rate.  mine went from mid 30s mostly to 50-120s never going below 50 in full screen mode.  my computer stats below:

Dell 5675 Ryzen 1700X

16GB Ram.

500 GB NVMe game drive

AMD RX580 8gb

250 GB M.2 OS drive.

Give it a shot with the parameters I listed and see if it help those of you having issues.

I will give this a try, as I can't believe my high end graphics card can only produce 20-30 fps.
My status is "Senior Airman". Is that because I'm old? :sceptic:
