how is the event uprated engine different than any other uprated engine? the news release didn't say.  what are the "significantly higher characteristics than its standard counterparts."?

Patient ?

After 6 weeks ?! Really ... I'd almost wish that m/k pilots could 'experience' this bug about 4 times an hour. For a short time only, just the experience. I now actually apologize in-game to the rest of the players that I'm going to have to crash.

I've dealt with bugs in games that were far more game breaking.. so yes.. I do like to think I'd be patient :)

I was a beta tester for World of WarCraft, Lord of the Rings Online, ESO, and others.... There comes a point you're just kinda numb to bugs that suck the joy out of one of your favorite aspects of a game. Nerfs too. Every once in a while it gets through, but it would take more than 6 weeks -for me-.. I already said I couldn't expect others to be held to that either and that I was only speaking for myself.

I have no idea how you did it.. but the framerate in my game just doubled.

I'm used to playing and getting 20 FPS as a "good" FPS and now i'm stable at 35-40 FPS after this patch.........

Sincerely and truly.... Thank you. The quality of my experience just went up a thousandfold with that.

Me too, but those bugs were fixed within days, not weeks ... and this is not a beta-test - I hope ?

Nah, there are bugs that were in Beta Vanilla WoW that still exist.. far fewer at this point than used to be.. but some of the mechanics of the game got -defined- by those bugs lol.

Still and all though.. all games that are in development are a form of beta product. The only time they aren't is if they are an xpac update only game.. this isn't.. and if you read between the lines on 2.0's development it feels like they had to put a title out of the door per boss demands whether it was 100% complete or not.. so this last year has been probably trying to introduce new content -while- fixing the things they should have had another six months to beta test is my assumption. I could be wrong, but I've seen this before with a LOT of MMOs.. Aion comes to mind as an example... and so this is what we have currently. I honestly feel like they're making genuine headway at this point though and I am -hoping- against hope that means there's more resources being thrown at the game now that they got the massive overhaul of WoWS mostly finished.

To add: I say this because of the fact they've stated that they had to finish the core of the game and get it out without all features finished.. that's almost always code for: please bear with us... this is going to be a bumpy ride. World of WarCraft literally made this mistake in Vanilla.. I remember almost weeklong server downtimes -after- launch... and I remember the same thing happening around their 5 year mark. This game, by comparison... eh *shrug* I mean.. it's certainly a problem child sometimes.. but there IS a reason we all play it... and that's because none of the competitors are -quite- as good as this is even with all the bugs.. not sure what that says about the state of multiplayer flight sims.. but... there it is.

Após a instalação o idioma foi para o "Inglês" sem que eu intervisse, então verifiquei que veio faltando o idioma na tela do servidor". No suporte eles me disseram que não sabem exatamente o que aconteceu e que houveram mais relatos de quedas de outros idiomas com outros jogadores.
Alguém mais sabe sobre o caso de "quedas de idiomas" nesta nova versão?

Please try the following steps:

1. Go into the directory of the listed file (the update file) and delete it.

2.Restart your computer.

3. Run the patch download and installation again.

 

Deleting AND restarting are both necessary steps.

Playing a game that you paid for is against the EULA? I dont think so as I intentionally want to make use of a product I purchased.Funny but there seems to be a few people that think js users should be punished because it interferes with THEIR game.
