This is listed as a news release on the main page, to me it seems somewhat ambiguous.

https://worldofwarpl...ews/prize_list/

Is this something they are gonna offer in perpetuity? Is it something for the weekend? It's not clear what it actually is or when it will be available.

Anyone else?

as long as it brings in money it should be around,

so

it's time to max out my visa card, get a title loan and visit the payday loan company next to the airport

I'm going to be so awesome in this game

... I wonder if I can get a reverse mortgage

hmmm:sceptic:

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Could be they're going to rework the Daily missions away from the Token earning to Crate earning?

Or just a For the Record list of what you can get in Crates eg in the Xmas Event.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.

My point exactly. It could be any of these plus more. I'm just not sure, and they are very unclear, what this is about.

it would be a cool idea but for the daily missions I don't want to be that guy but I hope they do something where all three bars of the daily missions could be completed in the tiers you play the most so for those who don't have tier 8s can complete these missions but that's just me.

also I know this isn't part of this forum but anyone have any tips on how to play the p47b I got the plane and I notice some weird stuff going on when I try to turn and shoot with it the shots don't connect or when I'm behind someone and I'm firing I'm close enough that their health bar shows up and I am hitting the plane I see parts fall off of it but. their health doesn't go down that and their is no sound when I hit them. sometimes the guns works and other times it doesn't. anyone else have this issue with the plane or other planes in game?

Just as it says - the list of Supply crates' content. These Supply crates may appear as rewards (for this event, for example) or be a part of a Premium Shop bundle. So we posted the full list of the content to keep you informed about what you may get from these crates.

Mystery solved~

Supply Crates are a great thing and I think this was intended as a reminder that you can still earn these or purchase them.

To be honest, I'd really like to see WOWS adopt a "Supply Crate" system such as they have in WOWS.  In WOWS, if you earn 2,000 xp in a day, you get 1 "Container", if you earn 12,000 you get another and if you earn 32,000 you get yet another.  Each container contains three things, normally signal flags, consumables or cammos but can have other goodies on occasion, on rare occasions, even a new premium ship.

What this achieves is giving people a reason to show up and play every day.  2,000 xp isn't that hard to reach even for a casual player so even those without a huge amount of time to invest can show up for a couple of battles and get their container.  12,000 is also achievable if your willing to put in a modest amount of work.

It really is just a machine that keeps players coming back on a daily basis whether you are a casual player or a hardcore ship driver.

As a WOWS player I try to always at least pick up my first crate of the day and it allows me to build a base for commonly used consumables and flags which are much easier to come by in WOWS than they are hear.  It's also a good deal more of an obvious risk/reward proposition since the rewards are easily seen and accessed.

WOWP's is a bit more arcane to me.  What you need to do to earn a Supply Crate isn't as obvious and you really have to put in a lot more effort to pick one up.  Almost as bad is that if you do earn one of these beauties, more often than not the system opens them for you giving you a flashing impression that something just happened even if you aren't sure exactly what that something might be.  There are times I've entered the game to see "You have a New Plane" message without having any inkling to how I received it.  Did I earn a crate, did I complete some mission I wasn't aware I was on, did WG just give me one for flying it's planes for a couple of years?  It also has taken me more than a little effort to figure out where the crates are even at in the system.  Once I did I was delighted to discover I had four crates waiting to be opened with no clue as to why I had them or how I got them.

I think WOWP's could benefit a lot from making this whole process easier for players to access and understand and that could bring some worthwhile dividends to the game.

"Don't mess with me because I can squish you like a bug, that is If I should decide to notice your existence in the first place".

Yes, it's haughty and its arrogant but you're a battleship with 16 inch guns and Britannia Rules the Waves.  Maybe a bit of arrogance in this case is appropriate.

Blindy, the question was not about what the posting said.  It was about why we're getting this information.  Are we going to be able to earn the crates (ala Ships)?  Can we buy the crates?  When are the crates coming out?  Appreciate you coming on and participating.

Actually, if you pay attention... the "why?" was answered.

What that means is... there is no specific reason for giving us the list other than to let us know what is in crates.

Crates have been available in many events since 2.0 launched... it has nothing to do with "what might be happening soon".

In fact, it is entirely possible the list was put out just to combat any fallout from ongoing lootbox controversy.

You can still get a supply crate in the current Vampire missions.
