Saturday; i finally purchased a Bf109F after i free exp'd past it all the way to an elite Gustav over a year ago.
Specialized it in about a day. Im glad i waited till i was good at the line to do so.

After that; yesterday was an America F*** Yeah day. All .50's. All the time

due to a new batch of token missions requiring ground kills and assists its now the germans turn
to bring the Ka-BOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Ef131, Do217M,  Do17Z
Me1099B2,
Do335A1
Me265
Fw 190 A1/A5/D
Ju87G

Me P.1092 / Me 209A when i wanted an occasional break from pounding sand

I think its sleepy time now.

Fair warning. My success rate at speculative guesswork is much like my WinRate. Hit or Miss.
Usually I start on the right track and then a make a weird left turn and get lost in the weeds ...
And yet it doesn't stop me from speculation.

The Friedrich is a great plane.

F4U-1 - Why only one plane?  Because I've lost 10 straight battles in this pile of crap over the last day or so before finally getting a win.  The last battle was a doozy as a parade of wounded planes conveniently flew across my field of view for deletion, leading to Hat Trick, Conqueror, McCampbell and Lambert.  Even that couldn't get my pilot up to 100%, so more pain is soon to come. Underpowered and always bleeding speed this plane is a massive struggle to fly.

Mosquito(uptiered loss, against ClosedCoffin in his VB-10)

Mosquito(top tier, one-player-per-team win. Winged Legend, McGuire Medal, Grade II Heavy Fighter. Only 14,000 XP away from the Hornet now so, "yay" for that.)

Ju-87G(quick match for starting retraining a new crew for this plane, not done yet, but it's a start.)

Boomerang(credit grinding. Meh match)

Edit:

Bf-109 E(meh uptiered loss)

Bf-109 E(much better uptiered loss. Also unlocked the Fw-190 A-1, which I am not insane enough to be buying ANY time soon)

Ki-102(bottom tiered fast win)

Me-265(downtiered fast flighted loss against a flight of the two best players on this server who still play this game, Desert786 and Sysjack, both of clan HVAR, the same one Reit belongs to. I was not pleased with them for their toxic flight.)

Me-265(ditto. More of the same, and this really made me ragey in a way not at all usual of me. I was quite sick of them even existing as players after this match. Keep in mind, this is one of the planes that I am most mellow in. I had never been even SLIGHTLY angry in this plane before these two matches, that’s how relaxing this plane is for me. Imagine if I had been in something I HATE, like my much-maligned B-32 (which I loath and despise as hot garbage)! I would probably have sworn off the game for the next few weeks!)

That’s okay though, I was planning to finish the grind to the Ju-288C, or at least work on finishing it, tomorrow but I may not and instead credit grind (I have many new planes I can purchase, and some I will be able to real soon, and not enough credits to buy even one of them)at lower tiers instead and maybe do some sealclubbing of my own while I am at it, in, among other things, my SE-100.

LOL, yeah, I suppose they do. I mean, that someone hasn’t beaten Oliviako’s score when she hasn’t played in a long time is straight-up disgraceful.

Blenheim Mk. IV(e)(Credit grinding. My crew wishes that they could be promoted into a better aircraft to , in their words, "bomb the (heck) out of those (darn) (sauerkraut without the sauer part in front, and with an s on the end)". It's quite slow and (they whine about this ALL the time) it doesn't have as good a bomb load as the German Ju-86E. Not a bad aircraft, just they wish they could be in something a bit more imposing.)

SE-100(I rarely speak of anyone cheating, but this struck me as very, well, impossible under normal circumstances. There was a guy on the enemy team in a specialist Blenheim F. No problem right? Wrong. HE BEAT ME IN EVERY HEAD-ON. I was pretty sure it was cheating of some sort, but I think I finally figured it out. He gave that 360 degree Blenheim turret gunner Defensive Fire(which can fire forwards, and was, obviously, in all head-ons), and then must have had Ultimate Gas Operated Action on his Blenheim F, the clever scumbag. LOL, that would do it. I think he flights a lot with his buddy that he was flighted with, his buddy had told him of said most OP build for it, and then they cheekily downtier flighted so his buddy could be top tier in his specialist Beaufighter. What trolls!  That can only have been what happened, not cheating. But MAN is that some insanely hilarious trolling. Maybe one of these days I should go back and get my Blenheim F again, and build it that way!)

SE-100(much better. Still a loss, but this time I got to show an enemy player in THEIR specialist(and reassigned to be German) SE-100 who is REALLY boss, and also how it is done.)

IL-2(mod)(More credit grinding, and kicking butt. Ah, it's good to be back in this plane again. I've missed it.)

Bf-110 C-6(player-infested top tier match, in which I dueled an enemy player specialist Bf-110B. It was a rather long vertical turnfight that I was close to losing most of the time, up until when I damaged both his wings, at which point he pretty much had no other choice but to cede the duel to me and try to exit, which he had not a chance in the world of successfully doing, and sure enough I had almost killed him when he hit the ground at a shallow angle(indicating that it wasn't planned, he just ran out of room to pull up from his dive) and died.

Ju-288A(decent bottom tier loss, outperformed an enemy player Ju-288A player by a bit, though our scores were close. Also, weirdly, after squall line, we were both taken out by opposing team Hornet bots at the exact same time, implicating that Heavy Fighter bots are programmed to successfully remove bombers from the match after squall line, and that opposing team bots are not allowed to interfere until they have done so(the Hornets died almost exactly right after they took us out) This is not cool, and I will need to investigate it further.)

Edit:

Ju-288A(fast bottom tier win, solid performance.)

Me-262(solid match with gas operated action on this plane. A loss, unfortunately)

Mosquito(a lopsided loss that I was at least able to nab a good score from)

Mosquito(third place solid win)

B-32(first match in this plane in awhile, top tier, a win, not a spectacular performance, but I did go down low to chase down and shred an enemy player A6M5 at the end of the match)

I have warned people about this before.  Bot behavior changes after the squall, and if you aren't paying attention, they will surprise you.  Ahead of the squall, MRF are more interested in ground attack.  After, they ignore GA altogether.  HFs will target anything ahead of the squall.  After, they focus completely on bombers.  Even if it means getting shot down.

If you try flying your bomber at regular bomber altitude after the squall, you get HF love.  Below that, MRF love.  Don't believe me?  Try it.  Fly in bomb site mode to attract HFs.  Then switch to turret when they approach.  Shooting them down is a pain, but it is possible.  I was flying my Su-10 once, and cruising near the red alt, and had a Japanese MRF chase me down and start carving chunks off me.  After I turret-killed him, a Yak-30 came calling.  High in my yellow.  Well into his red.  And yet he was gaining on me.

You have to recognize that the bots, while stupid, play by different rules.  You have to understand their behavior in order to have the advantage.

I don't remember ever shooting down a bot plane down with a bomber turret.  The bots will turn away to safety when their HP gets low, and come back after they've recovered some HP.

had an F7F kill me in that way before. I was well into my red zone and somehow, despite being at an altitude that even presuming it had full boost, it should have stalled, easily cruised at about the speed of just getting into its yellow altitude band, and effortlessly killed me.

But what I was saying was, Corvus, your allied team bots are not allowed to attack enemy team heavy fighter bots after squall line until said enemy team heavy fighter bots have killed the Bomber they were intending to kill. This is basically cheating programming, where your teams’ non-Bomber bots declare a truce after squall line with the enemy Heavy Fighter bots until the enemy heavy fighter bots have killed their respective intended allied team bomber targets, after which they are fair game again. Meaning that your team’s bots are not allowed to help their own team’s bombers after squall line. They can avenge them, but are not allowed by their programming to defend them.

Well, I know for a fact that isn't true.  I have used F7 to get help, and it has worked.

Well, if it was indeed after squall line, then it must happen, but dare I say it must be pretty rare.

I've flown mon, tues, wed this week, which hasn't happened in many months

mostly heavies up to T8, but I much prefer the mid-tiers, because I just can't think that fast, I guess

rusty as all get-out, but feeling more comfortable by this morning.

flying tomorrow with my good friend SFMY, it's been too long.    I'm a little apprehensive, tbh

flew mid-tier German and Japanese heavies today, and the fun-to-fly-win-or-lose SE100.   won four of five

flew with and against HHJ today three times on a row... he dropped out of first battle against us, with a few hundred points

second battle, on the blue team, he blew up the score with nearly 14k!     3rd battle, against us,  he dropped out with zero points

that second battle, my flight partner Bud_1 and I only scored around 6k each.   HHJ scored more than double our scores

why he thought he couldn't complete against us is just beyond me.     we were shocked but pleasantly surprised

I played Tanks yesterday and today, for some Frontline.  Grrrrrr...being constantly reminded of why I stopped playing that accursed game.  Despite being a complete potato as usual I did manage to fire the final shot on the Main Objective turret which won one of the battles.

Hurricane II - Got "Hero of the Sky" in the first battle, and lost.  Barely broke 5000 in the next and won.  Waste of my x2 XP

Ba.27M - I flew 3 frustrating battles to finally Specialize this little beast, suffering bottom Tier in two of them.

Ju-288A(grinding. Top of the team, a win)

Ju-288A(good solid bottom tier match. Accidentally FXP’d what little remaining XP I needed for the Ju-288C. So now I have unlocked the thing, though it’s going to take at least a week or so of solid grinding, and since I won’t be around for part of the week next week, it will probably end up taking until sometime in the first week of December. No matter. My second Tier VIII is unlocked.)

Pe-2 M-82(bottom Tier, good match)

B-32(eh match, definitely have had worse though.)

B-32(Epic top tier loss, top of the team, Winged Legend, Thunder, Grade III Bomber, 15,345 personal points)

woohoo!

stayed on today for 26 battles! more than 6 hours straight. 19 wins, 7 losses. 5 of those losses in a row

flighted with SFMY, Neblin and for the first time, F16SkyPilot from OWSS. he spends a ton of time F-keying bots everywhere, and it really seems to work well for him. I'm going to have to print out those F keys, but I'm usually just hanging on for dear life, minding my own business. I'll go as far as hitting F7 for a wingman, but F16SP says use F3 instead, because the coding is different

we went all the way up to T10, 90% in heavies, with some 109 eurotrash sprinkled in. it was a big day for me

XP-72 - yay, better guns

Bf 109E - zut, bad guns again

Bsh-1 -

Wirraway -

Credit grinding for the Ju-288C:

SE-100(good top tier loss)

SE-100(good top tier win. Top of the team, Grade III Heavy Fighter)

Me-262(A break for token-grinding. Okay match, but I'm still not very good with this plane yet)

Bf-110 C-6(Great bottom tier match, a win, top of the team, Hero of the Sky, Grade I Heavy Fighter)

IL-2(mod)(A bottom tier match on Archipelago: Decisive Blow, with the enemy team having 4 bombers to our two, all bombers in the match being players. With it being a VERY predictable loss, I was lucky to do what I did, and only to die once at the exact second the match ended. Top of the team at least, though in this match that didn't really mean too much.)
