Hmmm I hope we get a glimpse at the stats on the Hunter before it goes live in the next patch (that ropes all the Hawkers into the Tech Tree).  I am saving up for it as if it's as fun as the rest of the line then I definitely want it out out of the gate.

I dont think we'll see the stats before it goes live, I would expect it's going to be a bit like the Sea Hawk and Typhoon, decently maneuverable, fast, probably lots of dual launch rockets like the Sea Hawk with Quad 30mm ADEN in the nose

I'd say it's got a good chance of dethroning the F-84F as best all arounder aircraft in the game

I also wonder if you have part of that line up in the gift planes, if that XP will apply to the next when they are added. Or are you going to have to start at zero?

Not really working for it I got the Typhoon, then worked it up to elite. Not going after nor gonna make the Tempest before event is over (please end this thing soon lol)

If you have XP on the Sea Hawk that should be easily applied to the Hunter

Not even gonna make the tempest so....:sceptic:

Just hope I don't have to do another full grind in the Typhoon to get to tempest.

Any XP on the Typhoon right now should still be there when the line goes live, same as the Russian Bombers and Japanese Heavies

The good news is the Tempest is a lot better fresh out of the box than the Typhoon

The Hunter's in-game stats were posted a while ago in the general forum channel. At least the stats mined from the game files itself and not official

the underwing rockets would be the 32× Hispano SURA R80 80 mm ??

@gerr22 : does Thunder City at Kaapstad still have Hunters flying ??

32 a wing from the looks of it...

The Sea Hawk does good with the wing rockets it has now so 32 should be better.. nice to see non paper T10's

Almost every plane is better out of the box than the Typhoon, LOL.

On a (slightly) related topic, I started a ticket during the event to ask how come modules previously researched on previous planes (like, for instance, the 20 mm wing-mounted autocannon mkV that is identical to the ones in the Spitfire types) had to be individually researched in the Hawker line.  I was told that it was implemented that way but hoped that once the event was done with, they would revert it to the way "it usually is".  Now that it is over, it appears that identical modules (even within the Hawker line) are UNIQUE to their particular aircrafts and thus have to be researched multiple times.  Anybody know if that is going to be the way "it usually is" from now on ?

My bet is... probably not in the long run. But it will be months - probably years - before they even think of changing it because its related to the way planes are released as "early access" during events. The have bigger fish to fry (hopefully the gamebreaking bugs, the gamebreaking connectivity issues...) so if you're waiting for it to happen, don't.

For the record: Hunter is now a normal line plane, stats available ingame in the Tree & at https://worldofwarpl...anes/gb/hunter/

Top speed 1000km/h is a bit better than the leaked stats.

Ingame says 12.5s 360deg but website says same 12.3.

Edit: oh thats with no bombs/rockets, 950 with those mounted.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.
