Next time I'll make the image more elaborate.

Disclaimer: The main reason I'm doing this, I've talked with blindfold and she said that WG would be willing to give out official prizing given that the community put in the effort.

The second reason is that I don't have any friends to play with online. :(

Prizing: There will be 3 players awarded prizes.

The top three players to score the most personal points in a single battle, out of any of the battles played will be awarded 200, 150, and 100 gold respectively at the end of this month.

The Goal: I will also be prototyping rules for a more competitive event. This Saturday will be more casual, but once we get the ball rolling we can make the stakes higher.

The rules for this event:

- NO BOTS ALLOWED

- The event will be with T7 planes only

- Specialist configuration will be ALLOWED

- Any pilot crew with any number of skill points ALLOWED

- Max two (2) bombers allowed per team!!!

- There must be an even number of bombers per team!

- No other restrictions on team composition

- Map: Cold Peak

- Layout: 5 garrisons

- Team size hopefully 12v12

- edit: PLEASE NO DRAMA IN THIS THREAD (I don't care if you don't like me, I'm doing this for the community if you have an issue with me running this send me a PM)

Community Scrimmage January 19th, 9:30pm EST, T7

Sorry but I'll be spamming the forum the next couple of days with this. It's necessary for getting the word around.

Please let me know if you'd like to stream this event.

any T7 plane will do. T6 events can happen if this first one is popular enough.

B) can we chose to be on certain teams?

Most Lastly- can me and Chuck flight up as a team in a Pegasus and a I -15 if you offer a tier II version?

thank you

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

Dora stands ready!

***

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

I might be busy during the weekend, but I could see if I make it, if anyone here would even want a GAA with those B-32s looming around

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

I believe this is the map.

Jazz_4 I think OP will use this map with 5 garrisons only, no CC in middle.

Not sure if this version lags you out.

Surely I am totally supportive of any community driven events however to organize an official support of an event I need to be notified in advance to sort things out. The main issue is that I need to discuss and approve the regulations of a contest - rules, timing and prizes, of course - beforehand.

For example, in this case:

Block Quote

I haven't decided on the criteria for giving prizes yet

I cannot promise you to support your event with prizes if I do not even see any criteria for them. Also there's no any mention of how participants (winners?) are to be tracked and registered.

Thus, although I truly support your effort and desire to run an event, this activity is not supported officially from WG side for the reasons mentioned above. If you want to organize any kind of activity and to have it supported with prizes please make sure to contact me in advance to discuss and sort things out.

But I will be happy to know the results and watch a video if any. :honoring:

thanks for the info, it was on my list of next things to do to send you a PM but figures I didn't get to it.:P

I've come up with a prizing criteria, and considering the event is Saturday I'd still consider this "beforehand". I'll send you a PM later today with details.:honoring:
