Easy question:
What we got to do to win it?

I got more than 200 but I can't win it now.

I've read the description:
"Awarded for achieving maximun effectiveness in fulfilling the aircraft type-specific mission  Of course TIV or Higher

I tried with a T 10 Ground Attacker ( "Sector Attack" )  and did this (not enough?!?!?!?):

I think it's not about capture points but the number (4, 5 ?) of captured sectors in one battle ... ?

But with which aircraft type ? I've a few but can't remember with which planes ...

Found a page about achievements, but it's old ... https://worldofwarpl...ievements-wowp/

if I am not mistaken it is four chevrons and the star for that battle.

but I could be wrong and it might just be the four cherons.

Found something : http://forum.worldof...uick-reference/

''Sector Attack'' [HF's & MRF's]

- Along with the standard points for planes, (40) or (60), there is the (15 to 20+) points for each destroyed ground target; the initial value is [x of 50], then [x of 125] -> [x of 200] -> [x of 275], to an unknown maximum value.

- Filling in one segment apparently requires at least (50) points, and while (155 of 200) points in an MRF may fill in three segments for some reason (160 of 200) in a HF only fills in two segments; (200) fills in three arcs.

- No a/c type besides bombers & GAA get any points whatsoever for sections of a ground target destroyed, only all or nothing.

the in game description is severely lacking.  I had the same problem when I had that mission.

1- use a multi role or heavy fighter

2- fill up the circle for capture points while attacking  (I think its about 325 for a multirole but I cant remember)

you don't fill the circle for capture points defending in MR and HFs. that's why the capture points in the circle and at the bottom of personal results are often different.  you will also get different numbers if you kill planes for capture points in a GA because they will not fill up a GAs circle or ground targets in a LF.

Its not about sectors captured. You can get capture points even if the sector doesn't flip to your side.  Its possible that you could get all the capture points you need from attacking a single heavily contested sector and you don't even need to win that contest.

Its not about chevrons.  You will get chevrons because you fill up the circle but you only have to fill the 1 circle for capture points not the other 2 circles. To get max chevrons you need to fill all 3 circles.  In a MR the other 2 circles are for number of sectors captured and aerial targets destroyed while defending.  You don't have to do either of those things to get the badge and complete the mission

Greg is correct. You need to get the highest rank/grade=fill the full circle when flying HF or MF.

In this topic you can see the numbers, though this particular mission is called there "Attack on territories", probably I should update the info a little bit.

But that is for the "Hero of the Sky" badge.  You can probably get the "Flying Raider" badge too when you get the first ?

Thanks all for answering.

No, not exactly. "Flying Raider" is awarded for filling the full circle for capture points on that aircraft types and "Hero of the Sky" is awarded for getting 5 shevrons (achieving the 1st grade) = filling enough circles to get that grade (all circles to a certain extend - at least two full circles and one for 3/5) on any aircraft type.

Still the mechanics (whether you call it 4 chevrons and a star or 5 chevrons) is the same - you need to get the highest grade.
