The new plane (Tier II fighter PV3) is so broken, its almost not fun playing against a player who has one. Im playing in a FW 57,m a plane which has far more health than this puny little biplane, and this thing just shreds me.

Anyone else think this plane is too OP? I'm honestly glad it's a Tier II< as if it were a tier IV, I could be halfway done with the XP 55 personal mission in one sitting

Correction: It's a Tier III, not a tier II< as I said

Remember the differences between the fw 57, a heavy fighter, and the PV3, a turn fighter. You need to use your superior speed and firepower to make hit and run attacks. If you run out of speed, yeah any turn and burn fighter can then stay on your six and shred you especially one with four machine guns like the PV3. Rule number one of flying heavy fighters is never turn. Turning kills your speed and opens you up to attacks. If you stick to the boom and zoom playstyle, you should have more success. And, yeah, like the captain, I haven't flown mine yet because, hey it can't be used for most events since it is T3.

Friend, that game I had against you was not the norm.  I had been bottom tier with the PV3 lots of games tonight.  All the stars, moons, whatever aligned and I had a good game.  You haven't seen the other games in it when I was glorified cannon fodder!  Yes it turns great, its guns are good but it's not that fast and its pretty fragile. Its almost comparable to the I15 his dm2 at t3.  That's just my take on it...

As a long-time FW57 owner, I can tell you right now that the P.V.3 is meat on the table.  Your guns out-range it, you're faster, and you have a higher ceiling.  Stomp on it from above, boost away while giving it your tail gun, half-loop and finish the job.  If it takes more than 15-20 seconds from the time you commit to your initial attack run, you're doing it wrong.  This is actually the formula you use all the way to tier X with heavy fighters.

If you are getting shredded in a Fw57 by a PV3, you're flying it wrong.

Boom and zoom, fire, boost, GTFO, turn around, repeat.

PV3's 7.7 second 360 degree turn time is indeed outrageous, but it's not invincible.

When a plane works well it is NOT broken!!!!  Working is the opposite of broken.  When a plane doesn't work; than its broken.  This is basic English  stop saying things are broken when they work well or wg will break them

^^^this.

Well, and they "fixed" the Ta-152, and it's not the long-distance killing machine it was before.  It does OK, but you aren't going to carry with it like you could before.

? I didn't notice a difference although that might have had as much to do with flying that bird with 300 ping :P

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

Try 7.2s with a turn build, and Rudy flying.

The only Fw-57's that I killed are the ones that started turning ... the smart ones hit me, out-distance me and return for the finish or put the 20mm rear gun on me.

Pancake was way broke af as it out tuned most at tier lf.

The PE 3 is mediocre at best. At the tier I prefer like any other plane and only ground out the 10k reindeer mission before going next.

If I want super-turny, it's the airplane.  But I'm a HF guy, so at T3, gimme my FW57 all day, every day.
