well, after a lot of work, I got all of the American Bombers.  They are different in game style. From the other bombers, but the B-32 takes the cake.  It’s huge, it has powerful turrets, and it has a powerful sting of bombs.  My record so far is 4 ground targets in one drop, but I bet I can get one more if I plan it right.

 

It is definitely an AMERICAN bomber.....I can’t wait to get it elitied  and then specialize it..... that should be fun.  

 

Someone said bombers were like like playing chess.  The new American bombers are like playing 3D chess.  Not only do you have to plan your route, but you have to plan 2 moves ahead to make your drops be worth anything.  I can’t wait to get this thing upgraded and try it against a stronghold, they would add some interesting route planning.....

any idea when they will come out for you to purchase them instead of the token missions?

It was very satisfying to shoot one down. Waiting on regular tech tree to get the bombers.

they are going to be tech tree planes, so after the event in December or so I would guess.

I suppose it was.  It was also satisfying when I took a P-38J from full health to dead twice in a row with the turrets, it was a snap.  That guy found out it was a mistake to get mad and try to headhunt me...

Same here, they got this American Bomber right, so much fun.

My best game so far 6 air kills and 4 assists plus all my bombing.

And was tier seven in a tier eight game killing pancakes and RB-17.

The little fighters and multi-roles are so tasty in tier seven yummy.

I hope folks base all their attacks on the B-17D.  Just sit back and act like you aren't taking any real damage.  That way when they try that with the B-17G I get another easy kill towards specialization.

American bombers are really reminding me of the cancer they inflicted in WT.

 

Had a clanmate with a high-skill gunner and a gunner sight who gunshipped the enemy team while bombing at 1500m, didn't even have to manual fire, he just racked up tons of kills with 900m range and nearly 360 degrees field of fire, let alone the devastation delivered to the capture points themselves (which wasn't much because his gunners were ripping people up before his bombs even landed.)

 

Other than the meme that are laser-accurate gunners with nearly 360 degrees field of fire, they don't seem to be game-shaking planes due to how slow they are. Sure, they can devastate caps, but the entire battle can occur around you before you reach that mining plant, now your team has superiority, you won, and did effectively nothing.
