I am trying to grind through the missions and currently on # 2 needing 50 sections of ground targets - what is meant by a section? I usually don't fly GA's but am having a fun time using the IL 2 mod but have no idea the meaning of section. Is this a group of AA with pill boxes or how do you visual tell what a section looks like? ?s it also possible to get that many in a single game? What is the best plane to get those sections in 1 game?

Thanks in advance for an explanation on this see ya in the skies.

Like blow up a tent or a single AA gun.  You don't need the whole emplacement but each piece of the emplacement should count.  So like a tent city each tent counts as a section.

Me, I'd just roll my He-111 up and go with that.

Section is a single object of a ground target, marked as a little square, triangle or a circle.

So imagine how long it takes to get the 1st mission for GA specialist ... on tier IX you have to destroy about 4000. Takes forever ...

Sections of ground targets are what I call "Buildings". It's the individual part of the whole ground target. If you fly close to a ground target, they're marked by dots and squares for regular buildings (soft and armored respectively), and triangles or pentagons for AA guns (all are soft except on strongholds, where all are armored). Soft buildings can easilly be shot down by your IL-2 (mod.), but armored buildings will require using your bombs and rockets to take down quickly

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

You need clan mate help.  My Bf-109E3 excels at providing top cover.
