Ever been in a battle where you seem to be the only one fighting in the air.  :( Ever been in a battle where your teammate is doing his daily mission, that requires him to defend the airbase, which doesn't req. a win to complete..  Ever been in a battle where you find your fighters, attacking ground targets and your heavy's flying tree top level trying to dogfight with fighters. :amazed:. Ever been in a battle where your teammate seems to be flying off & away from any possible targets ( AFK ).  Ever been in a battle where 4 out of 5 bases get flipped, while your still on your first & no one can be found or seen on the map:sceptic:  Well I bet you wish you were somewhere else :bajan: You do have a choice....if things are that bad due to bad players, bot balance, or players doing their own daily missions. Tell your team...Good Luck, sry but I can't seem to help, or possibly fix dumbness.   :bajan:  Just click on the    " Back to Hanger " and let them.... do their own thing in the battle round. There's no need for you to stay on a one sided or uneven balanced team set up by computer bots ( and/or ) bad players.  Better to give the stacked team the win, & move on to the next round. Exiting out is better & easier to take,  then sticking around getting upset and being put thru a long.... unbalanced & painful round. :coin:

I've never done it (dropped back to hangar), but in the next few weeks, I would not be surprised if some of my team decided to.

Yeah, I've fought like 10 games where I was the only one fighting this morning (it's noon here).

But I never disconnect. If I can't save my WR at least I can save my other stats like point-per-sortie/game.

If I am trying to kill to get Specialist, then that's my goal and I stay. I will admit I said screw it when the above happens, but less than 5 times.  I guess it depends on your goal. If it is win %, then that mindset is different than other goals.

I have found that with ignoring win% and trying to achieve other goals, my enjoyment factor soars. As Redbud said in his scathing opinion on this game now, no matter what you do, no matter what the heroics, you cannot control the outcome as we used to be able to. Therefore, going for win % (except for a very few) can take away from the fun factor.

My greatest enjoyment in 2.cra* has been just flying a plane as it is supposed to be flown, and watching things explode in front of me. I know that compared to pre 2.cra* the planes fly too much alike, but it is possible to get SOME pleasure still.

There are  alot of moments that make me rage for sure, but I never leave the battle. Mostly because I'm often the one doing all the ground pounding, and if I leave my team's doomed for sure. My work's far too important to just ditch the battle when Bobby tries to ground pound on his Beaufighter for the fifth time, only to miss the ground target with his rockets but not with the plane, but oh I wish I could just give up and get a new team :(

This is my IL-2 (t). There are many like it, but this one is mine. :child:

I've started leaving battles last couple of weeks ... matchmaking is so sick that I sometimes quit, for instance when the enemy takes all bases in 3 minutes and gets air superiority while my team is still underway. Been playing since September last year and until recently I never quit.

I pay and play to have fun, not to be aggravated by all these unbalanced battles and 1-shot sniper bots.

They're doomed anyway ... I'm flying GA a lot lately and it's so frustrating to capture a sector and while busy on the next target, you see the first base flip to red. You (and other ga/bombers) take the second base, fly to the next and second base falls too ... sure, I get exp and credits, but this brings tears to my eyes.

I quit to hanger:
- When FPS spikes down to 10-15 fps  and game is basically unplayable.
- When I used to be matched as single human on my side to an uptiered Flight at the other side. (doesn't happen anymore since last update)
- When u hear 'superiority' for the other team,  while waiting in the respawn queue
- When i experience locked out syndrome at first respawn ( controls seem to work, sound ok, but no image at all, only the pop-up menu works)
- When FPS is playable enough (15fps -20fps) to pound some ground targets with your MRF, but your only human opponent makes it his one and only task to headhunt you all the time with his spitfire.
- When all of the sudden control is switched to Mouse + KB when the battle starts and you can't switch it during the battle itself.

I have exactly the opposite experience.
Since 2.0 planes from the same category feel much more alike compared to 1.x.
1.9 gave me a feeling of realy flying, since 2.0 i have the feeling of flying with a submarine that goes quite fast.
Anyway in 1.9, I enjoyed flying all aircraft in my Hanger, in 2.0 I only fly some of my premiums.

I would stay for this.  You want to go head-to-head with me in a Tornado or Dora and you in a Spit?

Come at me, bro.  :)

You can not even get head-to-head with those guys.
When FPS Spikes at my side, all reaction becomes so sluggish that the only thing i can do is line-up for ground targets.
I won't even try any aerial maneuvres anymore, because at that point it doesn't matter.

Life is too short to waste time on a losing battle due to a bad team.  There are plenty of bots to take my place.  Stats mean nothing.

Well this was posted to give you an " option" to an unbalanced round. :sceptic: ( Back to Hanger ) We all seem to be playing a broken game :(  ( since the release of 2.0 in which they don't seem to want to fix.). Since they seem to be ignoring this problem:hiding:( uneven tier players & balance bots ), so you ( as a player here ) don't really have to stay in a bad situation. Before each battle begins, hit the " Tab key " and look at both sides. You can get a good idea of what about to go down before battle begins.   Sometimes you can actually see the unbalance   ( tier's & real players ) of teams. You can try to adjust your battle plan, but if it's one sided stacked battle, at least you can see it coming. :kamikaze: So when things go bad in the first 2 min's, hit the Tab key again, and take another look.  Numbers don't lie,   you can now... actually see the unbalance on that list. We all pay and play to have fun, not to be aggravated or pissed by all these unbalanced battle. Just hit " Exit back to Hanger ", and put it behind you.  :popcorn:No one should be abusing this option, nor should anyone run from a good fight or battle, but if you can't get either one of them, ( due to a broken game ) then simply leave, and move on to the next battle.:great: Bottom line : It really... all comes down to enjoyable playing time, with good players on both sides of the battle...…. Game Stats are secondary to most  players here...... good playing time means everything.:coin:

I cannot say that I have never rage quit because I have two or three times.  But never for the reasons posted.  My quits were when the guy on my team was insisting on clicking non strategic targets (I still thought it would influence the bots then) and I couldn't get him to stop.

You never know. Little wings on a name sometimes doesn't mean a thing.  One match had a spit tearing up everything and the next had a different spit that couldn't do anything.

So I quit on match over.

I dont even let single digit Frame rate stop me.

I gotta learn how to deal with it all at some point. so  i cant afford to not keep trying.
I also like the 1000 points for finishing game...

when i have  been in games where some is trash talking the team and there is only two humans on the team   i tell them you know there rest of the team is just bots right .. if they stop i well stay if they keep it up and there only me and them i well leave them.  an  let them hang because i am  to old to put up with that school yard junk ]where people think there better just because the score more in one game then  someone  else .. and that give them the right to talk trash... i think not so i have bailed and  i will do it again .. i do not have to put up wit trash talking for me this is just a game i do for fun to get out of my real life stress ...

any i try not to i really hate doing it but when i have it because i got pissed at the person trash talking on my own team and it not worth my time to listen or stay to help them ... now if there is a friend i have on my team plus i trash talker i well stay and hate every min of it  and when i get back the person  that was trash talking goes right in to my black list ..

I have never rage quit a match, but I know a lot of people I wish would. I wish they would rage quit the battle, rage log off the server, and then rage uninstall. But we all know how that goes...so, on to the next battle? ;)
