Took a break after Westwall, then was without steady internet through the Summer & early Fall thanks to local/state construction and provider end port issues.
Patched, sat out the Bomber Escort event (no interest whatsoever), and the other night logged in to review the changes while refreshing how to fly, set controls, and whatnot.
All of the tier II matches seemed like absolute chance as to who won, to the point where the only win was because for some reason both of the other humans (~30% folks) and I were on the same team.
Every other match was versus a higher WR pilot or two, without them even being in a flight; yet it didn't feel as if they had any better control or luck with their bots than did my own team.
Swapped plane, same pilot - captured more, inflicted more damage, & shot more aircraft down compared to every other plane in match without a respawn yet my team still lost.
Now instead of a bot swarm to one or two caps which they might roll over they go to more caps in smaller groups yet still pretty much can't/won't capture nor defend; an awful lot of milling about in neutral airspace too.....
Took out the Mustang-K, ended up opposite a team where one player crashed out and the other cleaned up flying a Pancake, but it was obvious right at bot break that blue was going to lose.
However, only for a ''win'' do players get any salvage parts under the new equipment changes, let alone possible progression on missions or daily tasks; and now I have to fly how many lost matches to "specialize"?
So the net sum for actual playtime of the session (only 5x non-training room matches) was a few credits and maybe half a dozen of the most common parts that wasn't enough to bother with trying to calibrate anything.
Color me annoyed, disinterested, and just a little bored; I already got fed up with Warships and uninstalled after playing it again for a month - frustration & futility isn't fun WG, never has been never will be.
