I was chatting with my old friend, the stubborn [edited], wait.............I meant donkey like critter.  Anyway the subject rolled around to new guys and the stuff they do to drive us crazy (if they are on our team).

My favorite is 'that guy' who asks 'How do you shoot these rocket thingys?' at the start of a battle.  This is especially funny when he asks ALL in battle chat.  Just announce 'Shoot me first' and be done with it.

Then there is that old, not-so-funny guy who spends the entire battle trying to ground pound with his fighter.  This is so frequent as to no longer be even slightly amusing.

There is that guy who frantically and repeatedly clicks on every single sector of the map.  What?  We ain't gonna notice them if you don't?

Those are off the top of my head.  I am sure their are other examples.  Know any?

Challenge accepted!!!

Dude with a Goblin attacking ground till he hit it. (WG you introduce noobs to T9  and then you asked yourself why they go away)

Another "seal puppy" stalling repeatedlty with an IL trying to down soemone over him at 2000 mts.

And my last favourite: one that continue to hit what sector to attack when the battle was already over and we were waiting to go hangar.

This game needs desperatedly a boot camp or some kind of test to certified newbies!!!

In their eyes this was a successful sale.

Here is one that happened yesterday.  I was flying my T6 P38j.  I'm behind an attack flight of bombers picking off easy targets.  Than that guy swooped down from above me like a falcon with his do217 to ram me.  And yes he was on my team.  I think he was trying to dog fight with the bomber flight but I'm not sure.  I asked him what he was doing and he apologized for his 'clumsy flying" but he still didn't tell me what it was actually trying to do.

I will (sheepishly) admit that I have held down the gun button when human team mates swoop in front of me to steal my kill.  Sometimes, I even feel badly about it.

Team killers used to be much more prevalent in 1.9.  I don't know why or understand the logic of why they would want to.  But, it does happen.  Often it was very difficult to tell was was on purpose and what was accidental.

That one I can understand.  Aggravating.  Some players used to specialize in stealing kills.

The guy who keeps going to the airfield in the center, getting shot down, then spamming "If we don't take the airfield, we won't win" .  Meanwhile I have flipped 4 caps as he gets shot down yet again.

The guy who does all his fighting outside the damn caps.

I don't know what it is about airfields that attract all the mouth-breathers, like moths to the flame...

"OMG we NEED the airbase!!"

Ummm, no... there is a CC and/or a MB that are closer, and those sectors will actually help us capture OTHER sectors... the airbase is often literally the least important thing.

Yes.  I was just in a battle with HHJ on the other side and that is what he does.  ???

He had, by far, the highest personal point total in the game but not a single cap and NO chevrons.  Did I mention his team lost badly?

Exactly!  And sometimes, even worse, is ignoring the Military Bases on each side in order to attack the garrison in the middle!  What?  I admit the middle can be important but if your opponents get that missile base and you don't, how long are you going to keep that garrison?

1. The guy you never have seen in a battle before, calling out caps, but attacks outside of the sectors and has the lowest score throughout the match

2. The guy who you have seen before that hollers for help when you do  get the planes off of him he gets pissed and calls you out for stealing his kills

3. The guy who calls you a cheater because you one shot him in a Yak9u

4. The guy who gets pissy when he doesn't comprehend that the heavy you are in doesn't turn like the zero he just ram killed himself into you with.

I could go on, but decided to move on:honoring:

Oh, oh, oh, one more, one more (raises hand, pick me, pick me!!!):

On lower tiers doing token missions:

The guy who doesn't do crap in terms of caps or kills, who dies after the storm, and then, while dead, spams the map trying to direct people to captured sectors where no enemy planes are to be found.

Something similar happened to me today, trying to keep my CCenter alive I was attacking a bombers flight when a NOOB with a XP75 appeared and rammed me trying to get the last bomber.

20  seconds after that he met his destiny,  I farewell him meanwhile he went down in flames.

Off course WE lost.

I use to teach newbies that that conduct leads to madness and unchivalrous behaviour when this happens.
Anyway they seem not to be learning.
