Guess im pretty bad at thie whole concept of this came. Im a tanker who just came over here for a change of pace. It would seem I do fairly well in bombers, mostly cause its me vs the map. I tried the maneuverable planes and I die too easy, the heavy planes I cant turn enough to kill anything. Guess I havent taken too much time to learn what all the planes are supposed to be doing. (I mostly started playing cause I friend clued me into the boxes with gold and free xp that shares with world of tanks) SO I have a ton of parts and premium tanks out of boxes and not enough skill to play them.

I like the game, its sad that so few people are playing it, only took about 3 battles to realize there is 2 players and 10 bots on the team

You're aware enough to know you don't have the experience to do well which itself is the path to not sucking.

Welcome to the forums! Do hang around. You'll find that we're a normally helpful bunch so if you need any pointers, just ask.

See you in the skies :honoring:

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

If you play mid tiers (4-7) around the evening time in the US, you can get around 4-5 on a side. Otherwise, yeah, you're lucky to get a 2 v. 2. With the maneuverable planes, it's all about knowing where everybody else is and staying away from the heavy hitters. With the heavies, it's all about picking and choosing your victims carefully and staying high and fast. If you slow down and fly too low, you'll be vulnerable. Prey on the weak, the unwary, and the injured. Some places to start might be the British fighters, notably the tier 4 Bristol and the spitfires that follow it (good mix of turning and speed). The Russian fighters and multiroles can be quite fun as well, especially the I-16 l. and the Lavochin line that balances turning and better hp. And for when you get tired of shooting down planes, the Russian GA line can be quite fun as they can absorb tons of damage.

Most of the Noob advice from World of Tanks applies here as well.
Step one:
Don't rush to tier ten.
There is plenty of fun to be had at low to mid tiers. And in this server, this is is also where you will find most of the humans.
Additionally:The bot skill is beginner until teir 4, then it becomes consistently better. And pretty brutal from tier 8 and up.
Step two
cut your teeth in tiers  1 2 and 3 with all the biplane Barn storming turn and burn action
The xp cost is so cheap that you can research out one nation to tier 4 in less than 3 hours a day.
Most of the planes are similar enough at that point that you can train up some pilots for a bit as you get used to the game. and determine what (if any) national tech tree you want to explore

At tier 4 is when the National flavors become distinctive.

To be fair, they said that Japanese line will have heavy fighters line-up in the update of American flying fortress line as a counter of some sort though I don't know what will it be.

yep...  it's not the mega-inches of cold rolled steel that keeps you alive longer in wowp

it's the eyes in the back of your head that you grow over time... everyone can kill everyone here, given the element of surprise

top pilots build a 3D movie running in their brains, and continuously update it by looking in every direction

use the adjustable minimap and use the alternate user interface to build up that movie

Spittoon says #smarterpilotswinmore
