just grinded (ground?) up to my first non-premium T9!     the beautiful 1092!    (sorry Globular, i haven't flown you in six months, i apologize)

first few battles seemed to go just fine, with infinitely patient flight partner SpiritFoxMY's coaching

seems to fit my strengths, which are mostly just aim the nose and pull the trigger   BLAMMO!

edit:   are there any hints from pro 1092 drivers?

Discord says - "crapon your opponents" and "Just rekt everything that gets in your way and have fun"

***

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

Try not to garner the attention of my 262 HG II... :playing:
Or Bottle Rocket [The name i gave my Yak-19] for that matter. And maybe my Vampire...

But in all seriousness, congrats on the tier 9, hope the new bird proves fun for you, I know I have a blast in Bottle Rocket. [while my HG II continues to be a bit of a hot mess.]

I would advise that you should be wary of how you lead targets that are not flying in front of you, as the speed ramps up noticeably between tiers 8-9-10. Though I am sure SpiritFoxMY already coached you a bit on that, among other things.

I would provide more advice, but I have yet to touch that line myself. Regardless, enjoy your first tier 9, hopefully it continues to be enjoyable for you, I know my HG II [which was my own first T9 plane] is still being a piece of work even though I've had it for about 7 months. [I swear i am going to get that beast reigned in soon...]

7 or 8 battles in it today... it felt comfortable enough, is about all that i can say

i'm just not a big jet fan, really...  because ww2

my biggest issue?   not knowing what the other planes i'm facing can do best, especially Xs    never faced an X anything before now

the letters/numbers of the red team's planes mean nothing to me       almost a completely new game up in IX...  faster, deadlier, scarier

flight partner SpiritFox is simultaneously flying his plane, making strategic decisions for both of us, along with a running commentary on the plus/deltas of red planes approaching me         and doing it all in perfect English, which is not his native tongue

he's exhausted after every battle    i'm so sorry, brother

edit:  i'm seeing friendly faces, though!     hiya King and Comealong!
