I have this problem as well. But i managed a workaround. I downloaded Discord on my phone and connected the bluetooth mic+earbuds to that.

I run the game as normal. And use my phone for comms while its plugged into the computer for charging.

do you have your mic set for 'always on"?     i have a button set on my mouse, i key it when i want to say something

i have friends that i periodically flight with, and theirs is always on       i hear way too much coughing and hacking up lungs, so...

i'm able to spare my friends from hearing me doing that, by setting a 'press to talk' button

If I do the inviting, I often type until a specific time I will wait.  For example:  "I will wait until :05"=whatever hour it is in the invitee's time zone, plus five minutes - 10:05, 3:05, etc.  I'm hoping that such a 'time stamp,' as I meant it, was interpreted as such.  I thought it sensible, but I'm certain that it could have been misinterpreted.  If so, sorry.

That sounds like the best solution yet.  That way no one is left wondering.

CAREFUL

Last time there was an issue with flights, it went from 3 to 2.  WG may think to reduce that number by 1 again....just saying!

He's bored.

Nailed it!

Also, got to use a quote from the Sopranos so had to take my shot.
