Before you get too excited about the new planes this event will offer be ready to pay real money for them.  In the last event you could bypass missions in the ops orders with tokens.  You could get the tokens by playing or with gold.  This event to bypass missions you need to buy certificates and the missions have become more extreme to ensure that they can not be completed in 24hrs except by MAYBE the best players.  Below is the mission requirements for the Dornier Do 335:

1. Earn 400 capture points in a single victorious battle.

2. Destroy 120 aerial targets

3. Earn the McCampbell medal

4. destroy 5 heavy fighters in a victorious battle.

5. Earn 6000 capture points in any number of battles.

6. Earn the Ace medal

7. Earn 10,000 personal points in any number of battles for destroying aerial targets.

That's right there's 7 of them! It would be one thing if they could all be done simultaneously but they are all locked behind the previous mission so you have to do them in sequence and they all must be completed in 24hrs.  Each mission requires 89 certificates to bypass.  That's 623 certificates to bypass all 7 missions.  In the premium shop the Big Flaming Shores Bundle has 700 certificates and costs $91.54.  So is a Do 335 worth $91.54 to you?

Well, as eekeeboo would say - you can also get certs from Crate drops from the events...

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

How surprising... another massive grind fest, barely disguised as "fun"... I'm so shocked...   :sceptic:
I don't want to hurt you... I just want to kill you!

????? is War Gaming trying to f#$k everyone again? Common WG what is with you guys what has the player base been saying to you over and over - both Sonic and Blind what has happened? Played this mode on defense and so far not good being on the defensive side in this mode to. Losses will be many if you are on that side and trying to complete missions as all have stated above is a unreal in the 24 hours.
