Mmmm Vampire.  He-111.. nom nom...  Looks like a good set of new features and adjustments.  Love the cammo change.

Sweet.  Veteran bots at high levels.  The ones that evade based on your inputs and where the pipper is pointed.  I love giving those bots the head-fake.  If I bunt, they pull - right into the stream of lead.  Good work.  LOL.

Dear WG,
Over all I think all of this is a welcome addition to the game. 
I have some concerns about a few points (listed later)  but i will wait and see how they play out.  And maybe throw a few "What were you thinking? No really .U  do me a confuse WG" posts at the Ask a Dev section before i go pass any kind of judgement about it.
Great Job. I look forward to trying out these new features/bugs that so many folks at WG worked very hard to make for us.

And Bitxh]you will because the new game mode seems like its gonna test the current "LowAltitudeTurnFightersR+best" Meta.
I wonder if it will still be competitive beyond tier 4?

Many of the changes WG made are ones that have been at some time or another asked, demanded, whined, begged, pleaded, threatened for in these forums for months now.
DOnt worry there are still things to gripe about. The issue of fluctuating framerates (from 9-40) over the course of a battle for example are suspiciously not mentioned. At all.

    AA gun balance has been reworked, damage models have been changed. It has become easier to dodge AA gun fire, the time for the player to respond to the threat has increased. I had no idea you could dodge AA fire. I was under the impression it was just a damage over time area effect.  Good to Know!

 ummm well so much for surpressing AA guns in my fighter when there aren't any planes to shoot down  Fire chance is still an option i hope.

as funny as the sound and video changes are (again), the rest of the patch is actually a step in the right direction. i wont play it until its pvp again, but escort missions have been on the list of player wants since i first started reading suggestion threads in beta. 

 

ill wait to read the full feedback, but a step forward. 

 

Yes i realize that there might be a few items that leave us scratching our heads, but when due i am going to give it.

This is a little different, mainly bonuses to crew experience.  I doubt camo bonuses will impact much gameplay.  Gunners are way too susceptible to damage, any help there is good.

 

 

I have already outfitted my attack and bomber aircraft with seasonal paint schemes, so it’s no big deal.  I wanted that 10% concealment, and I am happy as a clam my investment is getting me 20% and 10% aa protection.

Looks promising, I have to say I like all the changes.  One question, I did not see anything about the win conditions for material, I assume that is still part of the economics?

The patch is out.

     The stuff I liked:

Bonuses for paint,

Russian Bombers.

     The stuff I didn't like:

Controls reset,

Premium planes like Bf-109e-3 and Hurricane Mk1a don't have a paint bonus. Even though they are painted. (Because now all paints should give bonuses).

New mode with Bomber Escort is not out yet.
