Just finished a tier 1 in an AR 65 and when I checked the results, there were two other aircraft critted and myself, in the engine. How is this even possible?

This is it. I have a full screenshot but WG's s/ware says it is too big, making the post too long so I had to use a snipping tool, which is why it is tiny.

With the new Logitech joystick I'm just getting used to, I've inadvertently tried boring holes in a few mountains and an airfield, but not in this particular battle and no, no bomblasting of self either. I'm stumped.

Extreme 3D Pro? Love it!
To your question, it maybe is just another bug..............er, I meant feature, of course.
The only way that I know of to crit yourself is low-level bombing.
Especially with those new Soviet bombers (II & IV) you can blast yourself right out of the sky when you're low and slow enough.
And yes, the 3D Extreme is fantastic. On my second now, first one gave up after some extensive use ;-)
Nice to hear there are a few other happy stick users in the game!
@Captain Underpants
I suspect it is another "feature", as you say, though I have to say this is the first time I've seen anything like it, anywhere. Of course that means nothing in this game. I could get taken out by somebody on a hilltop with a spear and it wouldn't surprise me. I`m not going to bother Sonic with it at this point since he has a rather full plate but if it repeats I will mention it to him.
Yeah, I'm rapidly falling in love with the 3D Extreme. It SO beats slamslamslamming a mouse across a mouse pad in a turning fight. That's actually the reason I bought it. That and the twist rudder, oh yeah. I use a combination of the stick and the keyboard and it is so much more comfortable than my multi-buttoned G602 mouse and board. I find I'm playing more than before just because I like the division of labour between the seven upper keys on the stick and the balance of functions on the keyboard so much. I don`t bother with any of the base buttons on the stick.
The sole downside is I can no longer play with the Alternative Interface Mode on permanently. Small price to pay.
@I'm a Goner
I don't think I low-level bombed myself firstly because the AR 65 only has two small AC 50 bombs and in that bird I don't usually do any ground attack, just jettison the bombs over a target from as high up as possible since the 65 often gets shredded by flak at low levels over target, so I habitually try to fly high CAP as much possible. In this particular game I don't remember being hoist by my own petards which is something I've only done maybe a few times since I started the game a good while ago so I would remember, I'm pretty sure. I play GAA a lot since it's my favourite mode.
Anyway I think the game would only show it as destroyed by the last oppo plane that touched you whether you blow yourself skywards; or crash into an AA mount which usually only happens with my Tsh, which is as responsive as a drugged dinosaur.
Oh well, just another eclectic curiosity in a game that is full of them.
Thanks for the replies, guys, and to you too, Cenotaph.
I think I`ll go blow something up now....

If you're interested in seeing a player using a flight rig, that is pretty damned good, and fun to watch... check out Goat_Messiah.
Also, try dropping those bombs after a head on pass, right before you pass over a plane...

Thanks, Cenotaph. Where can I find this esteemed gentleman? Are you talking about a YT vid?
Haven't tried the head on pass, but I have managed to catch several pursuers in bomblast. Always a giggle.

You can win planes? OK, this I have to investigate since WoWP will never ever see another cent from me.
Cosmo was there in chat when I popped in.
Got a whole lot of new to learn. This is good.
Going to put the Yammie up for the winter soon, so the timing is perfect for a retired soul like myself.
Thanks for this, Cenotaph.

I've won an XP-58, a Meteor and a J4M in the last 30~ days... certainly worth the time.
Last one was at 2pm Pacific (Think the time is standardized, but don't quote me)... Fridays, as previously mentioned.
