I love Spam! Spam and eggs! Spam and bacon! Spam and toast! Sometimes just Spam! Sometimes Spam and more Spam! S.P.A.M. stands for "Special Processed American Meat". If you did not know that. Spam is so cool you can eat it right out of the can. I could eat Spam everyday and be very happy. So I was thinking.....

What else in my life is like Spam? Hhhhmmmm......

I've got it! My favorite online video game!

I'll bet there are others like myself who love Spam and also love World of Warplanes! We need to unite and beg War Gaming for more of the same! So that our world's can be filled with Spam combinations as well as the "Spam-like" combinations that we get with warplanes.

Conquest. Conquest and Invasion. Invasion and attrition. Conquest and attrition. Conquest and conquest. Invasion and invasion. Attrition and attrition. Conquest and invasion and attrition!

Now watch what happens when I eat Spam while I play.

Conquest and Spam. Invasion and Spam. Attrition and Spam. Conquest and Invasion and Attrition and Spam! Awesome!!!

I don't mind eating the same processed meat day after day, month after month, so why would I mind playing the same video game scenarios day after day, month after month. As a matter of fact, and I feel there must be other players who feel the same way, War Gaming should make these scenarios permanent and everyday! That would be so awesome!

The true greatness of Spam is it's simplicity. It only has 6 ingredients and has a shelf life of 5 years (or more). The true genius of warplanes is that it also uses simplicity, only 3 combat scenario modes and it's shelf life is unlimited. I think a lot of the critics have been completely missing the "simple is better" philosophy. Spam has been around since 1937 and it could be argued that it has been one of the most successful products in history. I see War Gaming following the same path with warplanes, and I'll bet 50 years from now they will be at least as successful as Spam has been!

So who is going to urge War Gaming not to change anything but to make Conquest, Invasion and Attrition permanent, forever? Who is also going to buy some Spam and eat it while they play? Best of both world's my brothers! Now it is time to sing the Spam song "warplanes mix".

Lovely Spam! Wonderful Spam!
Lovely Invasion! Wonderful Conquest!
Spa-a-a-a-a-a-a-am
Spa-a-a-a-a-a-a-am
Att-r-i-i-i-i-t-i-o-n
Inv-a-a-a-a-s-i-o-n
Lovely Conquest! Lovely Spam!
Lovely Invasion! Lovely Attrition!
Lovely Spam! Lovely Warplanes!
Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam! Invasion, Invasion, Invasion!
Attrition, Attrition, Attrition! Conquest! Conquest!

Is Spam Bad For You?

Short answer

Although the FDA considers it safe to consume in moderation,

indulging in Spam on a regular basis can be detrimental to your health.

Looking out for your future well-being, it's best to skip the spam altogether.

Long answer

Since baking a traditional ham in the oven can take several hours, many people often turn to a

more convenient alternative, such as popping the top off of a can of Spam and enjoying a ham-like

product within seconds. Hey, we’re not here to judge your diet habits, only to educate you regarding

if something can be potentially detrimental to your health. After all, a product like Spam that has been

used to feed our troops during times of war couldn't possibly be bad for you, could it?

Spam is a brand of precooked meat in a can that is processed to contain a variety of ingredients, including

chemical preservatives intended to prevent bacteria growth, add color and extend shelf life. Research suggests

that consuming large quantities of sodium nitrate, the ingredient used to preserve Spam and many other processed

meats such as jerky, bacon, and lunchmeat, might actually increase the risk of developing cancer. According to some

nutrition experts, sodium nitrate can even escalate the risk of heart disease, inhibit oxygen transportation throughout

the body, promote type 1 diabetes in children, and damage the blood vessels.

Further, a single serving of Spam is laden with saturated fat, sodium, and cholesterol - all of which are linked to their own

concerning side effects such as increased blood pressure, increased risk of heart attack, inflammation, and weight gain.

Specifically speaking, high amounts of sodium (790mg in one serving of Spam) has a host of short-term side effects

including water retention, stomach cramps, edema, swelling, and dizziness!

To summarize our findings, there are definitely healthier diet alternatives to eating processed

meat like Spam. It is best to avoid Spam entirely (children and pregnant women especially).

So the Army dumped hundreds of thousand tins of SPAM in Hawaii after WW2.  The locals love SPAM.  FYI.

That's nothing. On Guam SPAM is a national cuisine.

My personal favorite is Spam with Chips, Spam Omelette, Spam with ramen...

Can confirm.  I'm pretty sure locals are 45% SPAM by volume.

How about some love for...

or

https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/2115147270/mine1_400x400.jpg

It's like spam, but a far lower quality product... kinda like Invasion and Attrition, compared to Conquest.

:Feelsbad: When the site makes your post but omits the images... and then refuses to work with you
