Would like to add one for the people living in the Columbia Basin area. There will be a B-17, B-24, and P-51D Mustang (with dual controls) YES I SAID DUAL CONTROLS at Pangborn Memorial Airport (Wenatchee)
Dates/times
June
13th - 2:00 to 5:00 PM
14th - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
15th - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Walk-throughs are $12 and 30 minute flight experiances in either of the bombers for $425. They also have half hour and full hour flight missions for the P-51D but they did not list any prices, though you can count on it being much more.
I will personally be showing up for a walk-though at the very least, too poor to afford a flight.

I've been to that one! Lived the first 18 years of my life in Washington state. Also remember going to an airshow at McChord that was really cool (lots of jet aircraft), and of course watching the Blue Angels over the lake was awesome.
Very glad they mentioned the WWII Weekend here in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend attending that for anyone in this area. You won't regret it, because it's more than just an airshow.

Between Tampa and Orlando, FL is a place called Fantasy of Flight. They do daily aerial demonstrations at their private airfield using vintage aircraft. They fully restore vintage aircraft to their original state and keep them all in flying condition. The aircraft they roll out of the hanger on any given day is up to what the pilot feels like flying. The hangers are open for walking around among the planes.
While it is a private collection, it is one of the largest around and the condition of the aircraft are unmatched. The collection includes fighters and bombers ranging from the days of early flight to up the beginning of the jet age. I stop by there fairly often just to see the new aircraft or what was completed in their restoration hangers.
Here is a link if anyone is in the area and wants to check it out: http://www.fantasyofflight.com/

I found out about this airshow when I was in the area this past week. The owner of the planes is restoring them and doing an airshow in memory of his father that flew as a fighter pilot in WWII. Currently he is restoring a P-40 and a Hell Diver. The show is on June 16th in Granite Falls, MN if your in the area and are intersted in attending. http://www.fagenfighters.com/

Hey, don't forget some love for north of the border.
Hamilton International Airshow on June 16th. Only place in North America you can see a Lancaster in the sky.
Last year was pretty good, and this year they seem to have even more to offer. And hopefully not more of the derranged crowd management they had last year.
