Our core values

Five core values are the pillars on which Wargaming builds a foundation for success.

Happy Players
Player happiness is the cornerstone of our success.

Evidence
Our teams make decisions off research, analytics and data to make our players happy, wherever they are

Agility
We respond quickly to players’ expectations and aim to constantly improve.

Results Matter
Commit and deliver on results that players care about.

Teamwork
Great teams are humble, honest, and hungry for the next challenge.

OK.  Looking at that through the lens of WoWP... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.   OK.  Get this....    on the "Over the Past Year WoWP Hasn't Improved thread" we have evidence that the 'Happy Player' Value is totally false.

It's coming up on a month since 2.0.5 has been released.  We've had no actual communication from the WoWP developers, or anyone, really (connected to the actual nuts and bolts)... even though, it's quite obvious there's a huge problem with the patch.   Kudos to SonicPariah and Eekaboo, who have joined forces to try and give voice to the player base.   ... but...    doesn't it concern everyone, SonicPariah and Eekaboo included, that have to try and lobby for players to get through to the developers (seems like its' worse than pulling teeth to get anything productive.. is that how it's supposed to be)?    ...That kind of flies in the face of the WG Values of Teamwork, Evidence, Results, and Agility.  wth?  It's like winning the lottery on opposite day!

Do any of the hiigher ups in WG care?  This title, in my opinion, is bringing down the value of the WG brand.  Fix it or kill it.  I'd much rather it get fixed... but, the way things are going/currently are, WoWP is a drag on WG image.

It's entertaining to observe how this isn't being handled :)

SonicPariah, my suggestion on how to fix the game:   Have the WoWP developers actually give a crap about WG Values (or someone actually tell them you guys have a corporate philosophy)

Edit:

On a serious note:  SonicPariah, any chance you could ask the higher ups if they can explain patch 2.0.5 through the lens of Wargaming Core Values?  I'm serious

Is WoWP dev even a part of WG to begin with?

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

You'd maybe have to stack these up against Persha's core values since they're the developers of WoWP, but I can't imagine they'd deviate much.

Oddly enough, the Persha studio falls under WG, and at least according to it's website, shares the exact same Values.   So, I think we're OK with asking.

^ Amen ...

I was a huge supporter and spoke out in favour of 2.0......but this game is in a full blown "nose dive" with the [edited]WG pulled.......

And yes....my job forces me to understand quality, and customer satisfaction........ and yes we are in a business to make money......but if we pulled this [edited]on our customers....... we would be out of business real soon....

its like that commercial where they want to sell more CD's ........ total loss of "pulse" what the customer wants and would pay for ..... (ah boss those CD's went out of style 15 yrs ago)

I agree 100%  If my department provided software in a similar manner, the whole department would be out of a job.  In any software development, you would employ analysts to research how things would be received by the end user.  In the end, if the end user doesn't like the software, it will not be renewed or maintained.   You can't please everybody but at least the users believe that the developers are listening.

I have specialized four planes and am close to finishing with two more.  I have dramatically cut back my WoWP play time but I enjoy the game.  However, I recently purchased a flight sim game (on sale) that covers 3 campaigns and gives you 24 planes to fly.  I have purchased a flight stick and will purchase an IR tracker (lost WoWP $$).  The more I play this other game and become better at learning its command structure, the less I will play WoWP.  It is just a fact.  I hope things work out but after bad experiences with WoT and WoWS, I don't hold much hope that things will get much better.  It never has before, why would it happen with this game?  This is what happens when you disrespect the clients.

But under my feet, baby, grass is growing
It's time to move on, it's time to get going

The sad part is when employees try to follow these values but end up getting snuffed out by all the people who barely care about or actively go against said values, which seem to involve the higher-ups. It's kinda like Google with "don't be evil," the individuals may try to follow the motto but the company might do things that don't quite match up to such bright ideals.

WoW. You guys are just like the RU WoWP pilots. You bring up the same questions and opinions. BTW, shouldn't this be discussed on Discord since WG wants the feedback dispersed and diluted in content?

I'd be on their side on this one- a concentrated dose could prove fatal.
