In the Update 2.0.5 we have received the possibility to skip «Specialist» status battle missions for tokens. Up to 30 June 6:00 (UTC) tokens will be available in the game client for gold.

UPD: From September 25 04:20 PT / 07.20 ET till October 1 04:20 PT / 07:20 ET tokens will be available in the game client for gold again.

This one must've been in the pipeline for a while.
Because it's completely tone deaf to requests in the 2.0.5 feedback thread.
You'd have to be an idiot to take advantage of this "exchange".
Which is an exploit on WG's part.
Be sure to check your logic privileges before posting on the forum.

If I had the cash, I'd buy a heap of em' to use the next time they have a crate mission / chocolate wheel again...
But, as for using them for "specializing" my planes, hell no! I didn't *ask* for all my equipment to move, and be locked away,
why would I pay real money (a ransom fee?) to get em' back on my planes!

I am sorry am I to understand now you want me spending gold real money on tokens to bypass to specialist. Ok, the problem with this purchased bought premium planes paid for with real money and gold should already be at this level fully outfitted period.

How about those Silver credits....have over 500 million of them. Let's make a deal.......say I give you 1000 silver for 1 token, might even willing to give you 5000......for 3 tokens.....what ya say.....We have a Deal ?

Yes, I have tier 10 vehicles of each type in each game. PM me if you have done it as well because I have not yet found someone who has.

Wasn't it just a bit ago I read someone saying that tokens had no meaning in the game now? So WG put's in a use for the tokens and it's bad. No doubt, yeah it feels like another way for WG to get more money, but are you really that surprised a corporation is trying to find more ways to bring in the money? Heck you can get tokens for free and just stock up on 'em. And aside from that, couldn't you always buy tokens with Gold? Now only difference is those tokens can buy you a specialist set up.

Ah... So like free exp gold conversions but now with tokens...

You know that's like 3000-4000 gold per specialist aircraft on average right? About $25 - same price tag as a tier VI premium. Which has more open slots with equipments and consumables than normal tech tree planes. Seems like you guys didn't think this through...
