The points for destroying enemy aircrafts appear to be calculated ONLY by the bonus 200 points on destruction and nothing else. The slow gain from I-5 ShKAS games with very large number of kills is very telling of it.

A light fighter at tier 2 needs 30 enemy aircrafts destroyed on victory. A multirole fighter at tier 2 needs 8000 points from destroying enemy aircrafts. Divide that figure by 200, and we have 40 - 10 more than what a light fighter needs.

At tier 3, a light fighter needs 50 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 10000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 50, which is equal.

At tier 4, a light fighter needs 60 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 15000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 75, 15 more than what a light fighter needs.

At tier 5, a light fighter needs 70 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 17000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 85, 15 more than what a light fighter needs.

At tier 6, a light fighter needs 90 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 20000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 100, 10 more than what a light fighter needs.

At tier 7, a light fighter needs 120 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 25000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 125, 5 more than what a light fighter requires.

At tier 8, a light fighter needs 130 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 27000 points from enemy destoryed, which works out to 135, 5 more than what a light fighter requires.

At tier 9, a light fighter needs 150 enemy destroyed while a multirole needs 30000 points from enemy destroyed, which works out to 150, which is equal.

If you are taking this route, why not just make Multirole requirement for air kill to flat number rather than points...or players are just witless sheeps?

While on the topic of multiroles, there are certain multirole planes which are NOT equipped to attack ground target, such as the I-5 ShKAS and Yak-9/9U while others can do poorly at it, such as the BV210 and 212, which can only take two 210mm rockets, and the F-94D whose FFAR are poorly optimized for ground targets.  Yet the uniform Multirole missions want ground attack points, albeit a small number and not tied to win. Proving your mastery by forcing your plane to do something out of its role...that's just glorious, no?

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

yeah, how the Yak-9's are supposed to get ground attack points in a reasonable time period is beyond me.

Just derp for a few games to kill stuff...it's not like you need to win for it.

The later Thunderbolts are going to have just as hard a time racking up air kills as the Yaks will ground points

212 actually carries four WGr.42s. I never realized that until recently.

But a truce to this mournful story

For death is a distant friend

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end
