Pretty sure someone mentioned this before and in this section too. The current development interval format really does not work. Waiting 4 to 6 months for a major patch update that will more than likely disappoint the playerbase rather than improve it. Has been this way since day 1 really... You'd think a group would have learned their lesson after all these years back @ 2013 when this game was still in testing. But alas these guys are just like every other early access group that makes the same mistakes over... and over... and over... and over again.

But you know what WG? It doesn't have to be that way (Not like anyone in the higher ups read the forums anyway). But dreaming is always nice!

- The suggestion part -

So here's what I propose: Segregate content in intervals from weekly to monthly to quarterly w/e. Just choose one. And with each separation of timed intervals during the year cycle, allocate smaller sized content(s) in each intervals. Why is this a good thing? You set more focus to a group to the specific task at hand during development of a particular content whether it be a new mode, customization, upgrades, graphics, UI interface, control functionalities etc you name it. You also take pressure off of "cramming" a major patch into one big patch which not only convolutes the content within said major patch because of differences in opinion but also  the  inevitably results in pushing back release dates because of certain development hurdles/issues blah blah w/e. This also gives you more control on what content you want to push during that monthly cycle AND prioritize a major list of bugs to be ironed out if need be <- WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS GAME NEEDS RIGHT NOW.

Another good reason for this change is while you allocate content each month, it keeps the players interested into the game. Instead of the current lulls that is happening with WOWP 2.0. 2 new game modes and a few events plus 2 premiums - that's the make up from Jan-Jun for WOWP 2.0 2018. Great. Result? Majority loves attritions. The rest hates invasion. The current new modes can only be accessed during events which are only open on weekends instead of being open from date A-B during the month. Why limit the access to your game's content?... :facepalm:

Anyway without going into a TLDR post or ranting on. I think this is a change that is greatly needed for a title like this. All the more reason to put 2.0 back into the road of success that it initially had last year for a very short period of time. What happened between then and now I honestly do not know. But heads back in Kyiv need to come together and start brainstorming better ideas in development cycles otherwise this title will go down the drain (again) by the end of 2018.

Like all opinions feel free to share yours down below. Happy to receive all kinds, positive or negative. Up to you in the community. But I'm just getting tired of seeing the same old [edited]and having no improvement to show for it. This game has been plagued by the very same problem that has been going on for the last 5+ years and no matter how much they change it into 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 10.0. If the development practices don't change the game will stay in limbo until it dies. Like most MMOs before WOWP.

I agree ArrowZ (+1)... I agree also with a lot of people's criticisms and appraisals of the current game. I'll leave the dissecting, complaining, assessing, and likewise to everyone else. Too much strain on my brain and heart. Regardless of what is to come, or how ominous the road ahead may look, I play this game for camaraderie. They may keep ruining the game and doing things to challenge our spirits and morale, but I'll stick with this until the last of my friends go. Other people wanting precision and functionality, I understand and I support that basic standard, in any game. I always say, "you can take the player out of the game, but you cannot take the game out of the player", and that's why some people keep coming back, it is the idealistic optimism that just maybe things will change for the better and the future will be all bright.

It's good that so many people put the time and effort to explain and sort through elements of this game, from the mechanics of how the planes perform to trying to understand and explain changes in the game itself after updates and patches. The human element (the players) at work that if you think about it, is the reason this game works on any level.

Thank you so much Arrow for your ideas and clarity of thought.

I totally agree. Look at how well WoWS is run: updates every months, plans for the future of the game over the next year and beyond, extensive public tests before the release, lots of testing with super testers before the public test.

It makes WoWP look even more terrible than it is.

My tier 10 vehicles

WoT (12): E 100, Jagdpanzer E 100, E 50 M, G.W. E 100, Object 140, IS-7, Batignolles-Châtillon 25 t, AMX 50 Foch B, AMX 50 Foch (155), AMX 13 105, T57, T110E5

WoWP (6): IL-40P, Me 262 III, F-86A, XF-90, F7U, Me P.1102 B

WoWS (10): Montana, Des Moines, Gearing, Midway, Yamato, Shimakaze, Zao, Minotaur, Großer Kurfürst, Hindenburg

Yes, I have tier 10 vehicles of each type in each game. PM me if you have done it as well because I have not yet found someone who has.

@Prenzlau

Thx Prenzlau for sharing your opinion about this topic! I admire your attitude towards this title and wish I had a similar point of view.

*Btw! Happy birthday mate! You're 1 year older! :great:

@Silvin

Yea I noticed this with WOWS when I tried out their game for a few days during launch. They are just so much more organized and filled with informations with content both within the game, in the portal and in the forums. Really sets that title apart by a mile compared to WOWP. Makes me think these guys at Kyiv could learn a thing or 2 from the WOWS devs.

Arrow, my old diplomatic clanmate, was always more hopeful and optimistic than me. Why do I keep logging in to check on things, and every time I find despondency and frustration. Unfortunately fellas, it's really time to move on and find something else.

It is clear that WG has no player input it goes on the desires of programmers where how many birds are in the game or glare o any of the nonsense... Not being able to see is not realistic, who Gives a rats tushy on how many birds are in the game... fix the repetitive crashes and stop relying on the soyboy programmers to help you make a great game...
