ok, devs got real money from me. but that A-26B is the most hilarious fun to fly as ~600 to 1000m altitude (where ever the bomb site still works) strafe, murder, and have fun.  gone is the lazy floaty-droppy bomb ship.  put some maneuvering add-ons with it, and you almost can dog fight driving an aerial tank!  6 .50cals cowling, 2 twin-.50cal turrets?  don't dare tailgate me in air traffic!

sorry:  just having a real hoot playing this game tonight!  thanks, devs!

Next time you're out... try ramming a GAA, they get pretty salty when something bigger and fatter than them treats 'em like a light fighter.

I like to refer to my A-26 as "The heaviest fighter in the game".

This^

I fly lower than you do even (if you just drop when your horizontal stabilizer crosses the ground target, you'll be spot on almost every time. Adjust speed to change the spread) and it's an absolute blast. It's even funnier when you've got all but one cap and just run around bullying GAAs and fighters silly enough to latch on to your tail. I adore my A-26B. Play it as its intended and fly low/fast! :D

I don't have the RB-17 (yet) but everyone says it's equally as enjoyable with that speed+20mm tail cover. Someday.

Me: "It's not bragging if you can do it!"

My tombstone: He was bragging.

Does it still stall when flying at treetop level?

I had an issue where I was skimming above the ground with my throttle at 100% and it kept stalling.

I had to keep using the boost to gains airspeed and climb to 600m.

    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

thanks for all the responses!  the rb looks slightly tamer, but that jet power seems like it could be the ideal boom-and-zoom beast.  I have another account where I've tiered up to my German IX, but it isn't anywhere near as much a riot as the A26.  GL/HF!
