So far in the event, I see few good GAA as bot while most of it is horrible. They attack airstrip for no good reason while they could have attack MB and cap it easier than a lone bomber. I am willing to bet that this is AI's issue.

As far as other class, fighter and multirole are ok, heavy fighter is suicidal(It can ram you easily thanks to its size), and bomber are meh at best.

Bot Ground Pounders used to have a strict hit-list for sectors and would almost always abide by it, making them highly predictable, but also somewhat effective since they flew around in flocks for the most part. However, with some of the changes that came around the time of the Westwall event, bot Ground Pounders almost seem to behave randomly, often splitting up as a result. Sometimes they hit the big sectors first, other times they go out of their way to travel across the map to assault the enemy's Mining Facility, even though there's one right next to their spawn .

The one consistent is that if they stumble upon a sector while traveling to their semi-random hit list, they will usually forget about their previous target and go shoot some buildings. That behaviour comes from fighter AI that gets easilly distracted by a shiny plane flying by, which often causes them to unintentionally converge on maps with little space between sectors. In this case the bot ground pounders can't stand the wallpaper on the buildings, so they have to remove it by force :izmena:. Sadly, the guys on the AA guns worked really hard to make the place look nice, so they shoot down the poor bots without remorse :(.

Oh, and they still like to turnfight mountains :bajan:

Well that sucks:(. I only wish the ai respond to something better, like 50 air kills I have in fw189(mostly they stumble into gunsight, but whatever)

I hate that.  When I fly into a mountain, it's because I'm dogfighting. and not watching the terrain.  When they run into the mountain, it's because what, RNG???  [eyeroll]

Bot ADAs seem to not be as aware of terrain as other aircraft, so you can force them to turn into mountains if you understand their pathing well-enough. Bot GAAs still don't like to pitch up when close to terrain, which often leads to them chasing their own reargun. I haven't seen bot fighters smash into terrain lately, or at least failed to noticed it :sceptic:

Well I found someone today tat flew il-2mod at like 15 meter above water level. It is INSANE to fly at that height. but hey, not bot anyway

In 1.x, I would fly my GAA below 30m all the time.  It seemed to allow me to pass without getting seen.  Now, if you fly below 30m, you kick up a roostertail of water that makes you more visible (it seems, I don't know if that's actually true from the game mechanics.)

My record for a low-altitude level flight was like 3-4 meters above ground. Now in 2.0 I've even scratched my GAAs' belly on the floor a few times, so I guess it went down to 0

Whenever I scratch my belly on the ground, my plane blows up.  ;)

Just remember, you can only tie the record for the lowest flight :)
Me: "It's not bragging if you can do it!"

My tombstone: He was bragging.
