The Long Way Round: Getting Home

In WW2 Captain Ford and the crew of the Pan Am California Clipper were faced with an unprecedented challenge: simply getting home.

Maybe because I used to work for Boeing, but the flying boats always have been an interest for me.

SOmeone needs to make a movie based on that adventure, would be a worthwhile film imo.

poppavein, a big thank you for posting the link.  I've always been fascinated by any kind of seaplane but I've been in love with the Boeing 314s for decades; they are gorgeous aircraft and only nine were ever made.  Of course I devoured the entire story in one gulp.

Gestures like yours are making me a regular here on the forum.  In fact, I've spent more time on the forum over the past four days than I have playing the game!
