A. Hey.

1. This is an objective reality. More than I would like.
2. Beginners are newcomers. Which for the first time fight in WOWP, it does not matter, in 1.x or in 2.0
3. My opinion is bad, newcomers need to be kept, now we are actively trying out various options, in the future there will be more such activities, but a complete tutorial in the client is also needed.

Q. Good afternoon! In the game appeared premium medium-level aircraft of historical coloring (Dunkirk operation), can you expect similar ones from the USSR (premium LA-5, YAK-9)?

A. Kind. Very soon the game will add a modification of Yak-9. But not entirely premium, we will tell on readiness.

Q. Good afternoon, dear developers! I wanted to ask two questions:
1) Will the opportunity be introduced in the "posthumous" (that is, after the destruction of my airplane) to observe the Allied aircraft not only by the camera from the side, but also by the "eyes of the ally"?
2) Will the "sepia" mode (dim colors) be made disabled in the mode of monitoring the Allied aircraft in the "posthumous"?

A. Greetings. In this mode, it is possible to switch cameras. Some improvements will be made, but they do not have the highest priority.

Q. Good afternoon! There are several questions:

The first question is whether the appearance of a Soviet jet fighter YAK-23 in the game (at least as a premium) is possible?

The second question is whether correction of the error in the description of ammunition for machine guns is planned? Since "fragmentation-explosive" and "fragmentation-incendiary" are shells, but not bullets.

The third question is whether the introduction to the game is planned for the possibility of changing the appearance and the names / surnames of the pilots?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

A. Greetings.

1. Perhaps, but I have not seen this in plans for putting in airplanes.
2. It is planned to seriously process the belts as such. In fact, in the next patch, the need to charge each group of weapons with separate ammunition will disappear.
3. No, there is still no such possibility.

What about silver?

Is it all going to be the same?

Or, are "they" saying, when you switch weapons on a plane the game automatically switches to that kind of ammo you had before. That way you do nt have to go in choose an ammo every time you change/upgrade weapons.

I'm guessing it's the last one. When I was flying my XP-44 and upgraded from two wing-mounted MGs to four, my ammo went back to standard from universal. Might ask for confirmation so you don't throw away extra cash whenever you swap weaponry, or at least I hope it does.

WG is doing away with using gold to purchase ammo across all titles. The change has already been made in tanks. All ammo will be credit purchase only. This is because you cannot make changes to the behavior of a virtual item that has been bought with real money, without running into legal issues in some regions.

If that's the case, all ground pounders just got a massive buff to their weaponry (about double now ). I'm amazed, troubled, worried and inspired at the same time :amazed:

OK, I'll bite.  How did ground pounders get a buff out of this?

The ammo belt that increases damage to ground targets. It's straight up pay-to-win, as it increases the damage you deal to ground targets while also adding chance to ignite targets on fire (which is a guaranteed kill on a building) without any tangible downside. Where the other gold belts are specialized while Universal is the middle-of-the-road stats-wise, this one is straight up better in every way that matters. I'm not sure about the exact numbers, as I have only seen it been used once or twice in the past, but I think it doubles the damage of gunfire on ground targets. If there's two GAAs in a match of equal skill, and only one of them is running that ammo belt, the other basically stands no chance in the capture game

what's the "dairy" thing?    bad translation?

this just doesn't seem like a normal WG decision...

i'm no attorney, but i can't see why pixel gold ammo could be judged in court as any different than a pixel gold Spit DB

did they already lose a court battle about this?   because i couldn't imagine WG making a decision like this just because someone just threatened a lawsuit

well, maybe in the US, but not in a Cyprus court

my guess is that we'll see a landslide of top ranked pilots coming downhill on the HoF rankings, now without gold ammo

just a guess, of course...   how in the world could they be that much better than the rest of us?

smarter?   better aimer?   situational awareness skills?   more handsome?

nah, no way...  i used to be a Sears catalog model, there's no way that Toggle is that much better looking than me

Dairy - Cheese: Get it?

There was no Lawsuit but it was definitely not worth the time or Gold put in for the ammo.

You did get it right! The Ammo is still there, it just won't cost Gold anymore.

Apologies on this answer as I am told there will still be Premium Ammo and it WILL NOT cost Credits, but there will be a different purchasing and usage method.

That was actually the case for my GAAs back in 1.x, where we had to buy ammo for the guns, any rockets or bombs it had equipped and some crazy expensive repairs. I had to get excelent games to pay for my IL-8 to not lose credits. Keep in mind that's without consumables or anything fancy, and sometimes I even switched ordnance to the least expensive option. Makes 2.0's economy seem like a dream come true, as I can run pretty much anything I want. It's as if they want me to play the game and not just grind whatever I lost last match
