Something new today.  And hard to explain.

 

1.)  Text communications with other players in-game does not work.

2.)  Progress to win/loss does not show with the 'alt' button.

3.)  Enemy aircraft still displayed on threat indicator even after destruction.

4.) Personal points not displayed after battle, until hangar.

 

I need to record this failure, from start to finish, including voiceover.  Can someone recommend a good product for this?  Thanks.

Shadowplay has been working for me quite well. If you happen to have an Nvidia card that supports it, give it a shot

I think I know what bug you're referring to, is it like this?

 

I've recorded a couple instances myself: 

 

For the record: no that is not my voice in the second video, I don't use voice chat very often.

 

The only way I've replicated this bug is when using flightchat in a match. I have never had the HUD break when I was talking in team chat or all chat, only flight chat.

 

Either way it's incredibly frustrating to get and hampers my ability to play since the HUD is not working properly.

Not only is this bug not new, SonicPariah experienced it vicariously through me in a game we were playing together a few weeks ago...so it's a known issue. I did send in all my logs and screenshots too, so hopefully they're getting rid of this 'feature' soon.

Oh, also you can use OBS to record video. Free, kinda tricky to set up the first time you open it up but easy after you learn what you're looking at. No watermarks and if you decide to, you can stream with it too!

Are you using any mod? (In Reitousair's video is seen the bot ID), in earlier versions, mods sometimes borked the UI.

I'm glad to see it's not a new bug.  Just new to me - I had never seen it before, where the enemy ID was attached to a smoking crater in the ground, with a health bar at zero.

 

No, I'm not running any mods, and after I did a hard boot on my computer and launched with the clear cache option, it seemed to not happen any more.

If you're using Win 10... it has built in recording.

 

WIN+G while in game to bring up the menu.

I had one game where the pipper on the HUD froze around the 2 o'clock position. Next game it worked fine. No mods. I wasn't/hadn't used chat.  

If the devs don't know what the pipper is, they can Google Head-Up Display PIP marker.
