Buying belts for unlocked guns?

I just unlocked the F7F and don't have the top guns yet, I was going to buy some belts while they were on sale for it but it only offers the option for the guns I have unlocked. Is there no way to buy belts that have not been unlocked?? It's not going to take long to unlock the F7F guns but I was thinking of stocking up for planes I don't have unlocked at all yet.
