Other than free xp through it.

Decent plane, but the guns.  First game was okish, but nothing spectacular.

Actually I liked it in the previous meta, never tried it inthe current meta.
I think it was more or less the fastest light fighter of its tier and had quite good altitude capabilities.

You can TnB with heavy fighters, bombers, and american or german light fighters.
I favored to use it with the 3x0.50 cal instead of the 2x20mm

The x3 50 cal might actually be better - the 20s are good guns but there's only two and they just don't kill in a single heat cycle. I might want to try that.

I'm struggling through this plane myself, so... misery loves company. And I'm out of free XP

So here's to a life of glory

And a laurel to crown each end

I struggled with the 210 , but the 220 is a keeper for me. (every tech tree has a couple of these planes)...

It has always been a meh plane, just like most of the T6 fighters.

Thanks, switched from the 20mm to the .50 cal and the few test runs in the training room it at least can keep sustained damage on planes.

I dunno about this meta, but in the previous meta, the 210 was the worst in that line in my experience. I thought the line was pretty solid minus the 210. I sold it as soon as I got the 220. Haven't tried it in this meta.

I used it with the .50’s pre 2.0 and did well with that setup.  It did take tenacity and patience to get kills.  Hold off until you’re 400 meters or so to target.

The I-210 is a pretty solid plane, with horrible guns...

While I never tried the 50s, you can get the 20mms to do alot of work... if you have decent fire discipline.

Don't expect amazing results... just mediocre your way to the I-220, and then bask in it's glory.

I don't want to hurt you... I just want to kill you!

I free-xp'ed past it after a few games, just lacks fire power. Too long to kill an enemy

That is the thing though, I don't want to free xp through it.  I was going to play with the MGs, but then after a game again in the La-11, credit grinding and working through a daily mission, realized why the 20mm cannons are there for the I-210.  I just wish there were 3x 20mm and not 2x.

Wait, that's how I advance in all my lines.  ;)

This is an interesting idea, might be worth trying.

The 20mm have ok burst, its just so much of a pain to put out enough sustained damage to actually kill Heavies/Bombers.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le SerB.

Go fly the KI-43-II.  The guns on the 210 will seem wonderful in comparison
